The Opel Grandland Electric AWD can be ordered in the Ultimate top trim for prices starting at 55,999 euros. So this version is not very cheap, but in terms of performance this car is interesting: whether you buy it new or later as a used car. Know that at a later stage a cheaper version of the Grandland Electric AWD will also come on the market that is a few thousand euros cheaper.   <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The most powerful Opel Grandland (2026) tested! &#8211; AutoRAI TV<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The powertrain&nbsp;<\/h2>\n<p>Well, then the powertrain: the front electric motor in this Grandland has an output of 157 kW (213 hp). On the rear axle is an electric motor with an output of 82 kW (112 hp). System output comes to 239 kW (325 hp) with 509 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km\/h takes 6.1 seconds. Incidentally, the system power does depend on the driving mode selected.    <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">There are four driving modes to choose from:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Normal Mode:<\/strong> from an efficiency standpoint, the electric motor on the front axle provides propulsion in most conditions. Under brisk acceleration (kick-down), both motors deliver their full power. However, maximum system power is limited to 230 kW (313 hp) and torque to 450 Nm.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>4WD Mode:<\/strong> both engines drive, with power evenly distributed to all four wheels for optimum grip &#8211; especially on slippery surfaces. ESP and traction control are specifically tuned for maximum grip. Full system power and torque are available.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Sport Mode:<\/strong> both engines drive, with 60:40 power distribution between front and rear axles for dynamic and efficient performance. Full system power and torque are available. Steering and throttle respond extra sharply thanks to &#8220;Sport&#8221; tuning.  <\/li>\n<li><strong>Eco Mode:<\/strong> the electric motor on the front axle has priority. Maximum power is limited to 157 kW (213 hp) and torque to 343 Nm. Under brisk acceleration (kick-down), the rear motor and rear wheels automatically gear up. Air conditioning and throttle response are also tuned for maximum efficiency.   <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sufficient power<\/h2>\n<p>In all cases, the car feels sufficiently smooth. In fact, there is plenty of power reserve, which is particularly pleasant to drive. It is one of the reasons for choosing this Grandland trim. The impressive system power. At a later stage, variants with a range of up to 501 kilometers (WLTP) will arrive. The 73 kWh lithium-ion battery (net capacity) can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes via a fast charger. You read that right: 73 kWh. The larger battery of as much as 97 kWh is not available in this electric Grandland. That has purely to do with technical limitations.     <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tow bar and anti-sway<\/h2>\n<p>The tow bar can be mounted in seconds without tools. This makes the Grandland Electric AWD ready to tow a trailer of up to 1,350 kilograms. The stability program with trailer function actively counteracts swaying. As standard, the Opel Grandland Electric AWD features Frequency Selective Damping technology, which adjusts the damping depending on surface and driving style. As a result, you enjoy more comfort over short bumps, but also for tight handling when driving sportily. Most importantly, thanks to this technology, the Grandland Electric AWD remains nicely stable when braking, cornering and at high speeds.     &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a nutshell: lots of power, lots of comfort and relatively high tractive effort. Does this Opel convince enough with that? In principle, yes. It&#8217;s mostly a matter of &#8220;you have to give it to yourself,&#8221; but only if the price feels right.
