The Torres Hybrid and Torres EVX already set that course, but with the Musso EV, the brand shows that electric is also taken seriously. Those who choose an all-electric KGM also get a seven-year vehicle warranty and even a 10-year or one-million-kilometer battery warranty. It is even mentioned in the corridors that KGM is working on a 10-year vehicle warranty. That would not be a wrong development.    <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">KGM Musso EV (2025) is electric workhorse, Korean-style &#8211; REVIEW &#8211; AutoRAI TV<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Excellent numbers<\/h2>\n<p>The KGM Musso EV is technically solid. With all-wheel drive, the driveable weight comes to 2,295 kilograms. The cargo box measures 907 liters and can carry up to 500 kilograms. This is helped by an automatic leveling system that corrects the suspension when the car is unevenly loaded. In practice, this means more stability and a calmer ride, even when work is in a hurry.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/kgm-musso-ev-2025-review-autorai-fotografie-bart-oostvogels-foto40-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"KGM Musso EV 2025\" class=\"wp-image-214857\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Towing weight braked: pay attention now<\/h2>\n<p>For those traveling with trailers or equipment, the towing weight is just as important. In the first production models, the braked towing weight is 1,800 kilograms. From December 2025, that will rise to 2,300 kilograms for newly produced units, provided that the four-wheel drive Dual Motor version is chosen. Those versions get a more powerful powertrain with a combined power output of 266 kW (362 hp), compared to 175 kW (237 hp) in previous models. The first Musso EVs with the higher towing weight will be delivered starting in February 2026. The rear-wheel-drive version will remain at 1,800 kilograms of braked towing weight.     <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Range and battery KGM Musso EV<\/h2>\n<p>The base version of the Musso EV features an 81 kWh LFP battery and has an electric motor with an output of 207 hp. The stated driving range is up to 420 kilometers, although practice shows otherwise. During our drives, we ended up with an average consumption of about 26 kWh per 100 kilometers. That&#8217;s not a record, but given its size, weight and body shape, it&#8217;s no surprise either. In daily use, count on about 300 kilometers of range, measured without load.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/kgm-musso-ev-2025-review-autorai-fotografie-bart-oostvogels-foto29-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"Interior KGM Musso EV 2025\" class=\"wp-image-214846\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Interior KGM Musso EV 2025<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fast charging: the numbers<\/h2>\n<p>Fast charging occurs in practice with powers between 120 and 150 kW. At a powerful DC charger, a charging session from 10 to 80 percent takes about 36 minutes. At home or in the office, the Musso EV can charge with 11 kW 3-phase AC, with a full charge requiring about 10 hours. The battery features preconditioning, which contributes noticeably to consistent performance, especially during fast charging.   <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">V2L connection<\/h2>\n<p>A practical asset is the external V2L connection. With it, the Musso EV functions as a mobile power source for power tools or other devices. On a construction site or remote location, this turns out not to be a gimmick, but an actually useful function. Clever detail: behind the backrest of the rear seat is space reserved for neatly storing the charging cable. The kind of practical solution you only see in cars that are really designed to work.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/kgm-musso-ev-2025-review-autorai-fotografie-bart-oostvogels-foto9-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-214826\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Double cab and four doors<\/h2>\n<p>Yet the Musso EV is more than just a tool on wheels. KGM supplies the pickup exclusively with a double cab and four doors. Thanks to sliding seats in the second row of seats, it is also great for passenger transport. The interior makes a well-kept impression with soft materials and solid workmanship. You feel as if you are traveling in a fully-fledged passenger car rather than a commercial vehicle.    <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rich equipment<\/h2>\n<p>Standard equipment is already quite complete, although it pays to choose at least the second trim level. From there, the Musso EV becomes truly comfortable, including a panoramic display and an Around View Monitoring system that uses multiple cameras to show a 3D view around the car. Maneuvering in tight spaces is surprisingly easy with this, especially considering its size. Safety is also well covered, with standard eight airbags including a central airbag between driver and passenger.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/kgm-musso-ev-2025-review-autorai-fotografie-bart-oostvogels-foto24-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"KGM Musso EV\" class=\"wp-image-214841\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">KGM Musso EV<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Light-footed handling<\/h2>\n<p>While driving, it is especially striking how nimble the Musso EV feels. Despite its size and weight, it steers remarkably easily and predictably. That makes it less tiring on longer trips and more pleasant to use in the city than you might expect. Regenerative braking is automatically adjusted for traffic conditions, incline and speed limits, but can also be set manually via steering wheel paddles.   <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Not everything is perfect<\/h2>\n<p>Not everything, however, is perfect. The infotainment system needs noticeable thinking time; menus sometimes open only after a second or two. This is not a disaster, but something you notice on a daily basis. More noticeable is the lack of a clock in the digital instrument cluster and main screen. Only through an app view can the time be found, which is unnecessarily cumbersome. Also, during our test, the navigation system, provided by TomTom, repeatedly indicated that recharging was needed to reach the destination, while there was still plenty of range available. That communication between navigation and battery management clearly needs attention.        <\/p>\n<p>Driver monitoring is perhaps the biggest concern. The system intervenes extremely quickly and issues alerts for minimal actions, such as scratching your nose for a moment or adjusting the temperature. Even when disabled, the system later reactivates itself for no apparent reason. This undermines driving comfort and requires recalibration by the manufacturer.   <\/p>\n<p>The operation of the transmission also takes getting used to. Switching between driving modes is not instantaneous; you always have to shift through neutral first. So from D to R or from R to D always takes an extra step in between. It is not a dealbreaker, but feels less intuitive than necessary.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/kgm-musso-ev-2025-review-autorai-fotografie-bart-oostvogels-foto19-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-214836\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prices<\/h2>\n<p>The KGM Musso EV stands sharp in the market. There is a choice of Bronze, Platinum, Titanium and Blackline versions. A heat pump on the base version will cost you an extra 1,000 euros. From the Platinum on, the heat pump is standard. Prices range from 43,990 to 49,490 euros, including VAT. Without VAT, prices start at 35,500 euros. Want to shield the cargo area by means of a rollover? Then you pay 2,434 euros extra.       <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion review KGM Musso EV<\/h2>\n<p>Below the line, the KGM Musso EV is a particularly interesting choice for those looking for an electric pickup that can really work.
