The NAMAC fair remains unique because it brings together the whole world in miniature: scale models of cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles and sometimes even vehicles that you wonder if they ever really existed, but which suddenly seem very logical in model form. From brand new releases to models that haven&#8217;t been made for years &#8211; you&#8217;ll find them here.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Classic Dinky Toys<\/h2>\n<p>The variety is enormous. At one table are classic Dinky Toys, neatly displayed like small museum pieces. A row away, modern resin models shine with every detail perfectly recreated, including the smallest logos on calipers. Some participants display boxes containing perhaps hundreds of models, while other vendors focus on that one exclusive scale model that the true connoisseur comes back for. One collector almost proudly whispers that he sees &#8220;maybe 100,000 cars passing by here at once.&#8221; Honestly: after a few rounds through the halls, you begin to believe it&#8217;s actually true.     <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1440\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/namac-december-beurs-2025-expo-houten-6-december-sfeerverslag-fotografie-bart-oostvogels-foto9.jpg\" alt=\"NAMAC December 2025 edition - EXPO Houten\" class=\"wp-image-214133\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">NAMAC December 2025 edition &#8211; EXPO Houten<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Treasury of parts<\/h2>\n<p>Not only complete models are popular. Those who build, restore or rebuild themselves will find a treasure trove of parts in Houten. Miniature rims, sticker sets, mirrors, bumpers, window frames, interiors &#8211; like walking through some kind of miniature apk workshop. One visitor says he had been looking for one particular part to finish an &#8217;80s rally car for months. Today he found three. That may be the essence of the NAMAC fair: always the feeling that somewhere behind the next table is exactly the thing you didn&#8217;t know you were looking for.     <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community<\/h2>\n<p>The atmosphere helps tremendously. Despite the crowds &#8211; and it was bizarrely busy &#8211; the tone remains friendly and relaxed. Collectors chat as if they have known each other for years, children enthusiastically point to models of cars they know only from games, and here and there a purchase is concluded as if it were a rare, true classic. A few hundred euros for an original Dinky Toy in top condition? This is where it happens. There is plenty of trading, but also plenty of admiration. Perhaps that is not even an exaggeration. The December edition is always the most popular and the sense of tradition is clearly in the air. For enthusiasts who couldn&#8217;t be there this time: no worries. In 2026, NAMAC will once again host six trade shows. The fair dates are already set: February 14, April 25, June 13, August 15, October 17 and again the busiest of the year: December 5, 2026 (Expo Houten). If this year&#8217;s edition predicts anything, it is that the queues will once again grow beyond the complex.      <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sore neck<\/h2>\n<p>The NAMAC fair remains a place where thousands of people gather for the same thing: the love of small cars that sometimes feel bigger than the original. What you mostly notice after such a day of the fair: muscle pain in your neck from having to constantly look down.
