That was perhaps the car with the bravest image in automotive history. But the current generation Prius unexpectedly took a different path and was given a tough, sporty look. Now it seems it&#8217;s the Corolla&#8217;s turn for such a tough makeover.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/toyota-corolla-concept-2026-2-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-211660\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Generation<\/h2>\n<p>In Tokyo, the Japanese have pulled the curtain off the Corolla Concept. It&#8217;s a bold hint at the next generation of one of the world&#8217;s best-selling cars, and it looks a lot more exciting than you&#8217;re used to. Clean lines, sharp angles and a strikingly low nose with continuous LED lights. It looks more like a sports coupe than a family car.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/toyota-corolla-concept-2026-8-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-211658\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No grille<\/h2>\n<p>The Toyota grille is gone, giving way to a narrow air intake in the bumper. Even the silhouette looks more modern: a slightly sloping roofline, wide hips and an integrated spoiler. Tape off the logo and you&#8217;d swear this is a futuristic Lexus.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/toyota-corolla-concept-2026-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-211657\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interior of the future<\/h2>\n<p>Inside, Toyota has tackled things just as thoroughly. No more sea of buttons, but a clean and tidy dashboard with two screens, a floating center console and seats that would not look out of place in a design hotel.
