Ferrari has pulled the curtain off its latest creation, but this time it was not a canvas of velvet, but of zeros and ones. For the F76 is not a car made of metal or carbon, but of pixels and algorithms. It is the first Ferrari to exist exclusively digitally – an NFT hypercar. So you will never hear it roar or see it drive. <\/p>\n

From Le Mans to the blockchain<\/h3>\n

The name F76 refers to 76 years since Ferrari won its first victory at Le Mans, in 1949. That was when Luigi Chinetti won with the 166 MM Barchetta. And now, after three consecutive wins with the 499P, Ferrari is celebrating that success again – but this time “on the blockchain” rather than on the track. And honestly: that’s a little less exciting. <\/p>\n

Design without limits <\/h3>\n

Led by Flavio Manzoni, the design team was allowed to go wild. Without rules, without physical limitations. The result is a spectacular hypercar with double body structure, sharp lines and headlights reminiscent of the 1980s. Yet it all remains somewhat hollow. For as extraordinary as the F76 looks digitally, you can’t touch it, you can’t smell it, and most importantly, you can’t drive it. <\/p>\n

Only for the digital elite<\/h3>\n

The F76 is not for sale at the dealer, but only for members of Ferrari’s Hyperclub. Those can personalize and virtually “own” their digital Ferrari. Still, there is some good news – if you like the look of the F76 – Ferrari says the F76 offers a preview of future models. So the lines, proportions and aerodynamic tricks tested digitally here could just end up coming back on real Ferraris in years to come. We will see.<\/p>\n
