The DB12 S follows in the footsteps of the <g id=\"gid_0\">DBX S<\/g> and Vantage S &#8211; additional beefed-up versions of models within the British brand. The engine responds faster to the throttle and shifts faster thanks to modified software. And then there is the new exhaust system. This comes standard in stainless steel, but can also be optioned in titanium &#8211; as far as we&#8217;re concerned, the version you want.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/AutoRAI_AstonMartinDB12S_8-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-209847\"><\/figure>\n<p>This one not only sounds rawer, but also saves 11 pounds. And no, despite its name, this DB12 does not have 12 cylinders, but you won&#8217;t hear us complaining about that because of the loud and lively soundtrack of this addictive V8. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>More grip, more character<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Under the skin, further modifications were made. The dampers received new software, the electronic limited slip differential is more responsive, and the carbon-ceramic brakes deliver extra sharper braking performance and save 27 kilograms of weight. The results are impressive: more control, less roll and a car that steers more sharply without losing the comfort of a true GT.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Carbon everywhere<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On the outside, special aerodynamic parts and S badges betray that this is not your &#8220;standard&#8221; DB12. A more aggressive front bumper with splitter, larger air intakes and a fixed rear spoiler provide extra downforce and cooling. Stacked dual exhausts complete the picture. It looks more muscular. The sports seats clamp around your body, and optional &#8220;Performance Seats&#8221; are also made of carbon fiber. The first deliveries are scheduled for the first quarter of 2026, so that&#8217;s a bit of a wait. Aston Martin is keeping quiet about the price, but let&#8217;s be honest: it&#8217;s not going to be cheap. Those looking for a slightly more modest entry-level model can always go for the latest <g id=\"gid_0\">Aston Martin children&#8217;s car<\/g>.
