The powertrain is paired with Polestar Engineered software, which provides faster throttle response and shorter shift times.  <\/p>\n<h2>Designs and prices<\/h2>\n<p>The Performance Edition is available in the Plus and Ultra versions. For this variant, the additional price for the T8 powertrain is waived, resulting in a 3,000 euro advantage over the regular T8. Standard features include a Harman Kardon premium audio system, leather upholstery, power adjustable and heated front seats, keyless drive and adaptive cruise control with Pilot Assist and BLIS (blind spot monitoring). The Volvo V60 T8 AWD Performance Edition can be ordered from Dutch Volvo dealers effective immediately. The model combined practical features with the recognizable Volvo design and an emphasis on safety. The V60 was offered with various gasoline and diesel engines and from 2012 also as a V60 Plug-in Hybrid, an early step toward electrification within the brand.  <\/p>\n<p>The second generation V60 followed in 2018, built on the modular SPA platform that is also used for Volvo&#8217;s larger models. The car received a quieter body design and an interior that focuses on simplicity and quality. With the advent of plug-in hybrid powertrains, the model was further tailored to meet the demand for lower emissions and more fuel efficiency.  <\/p>\n<p>Since 2024, the V60 has been produced in Ghent.
