Renault Group sales figures first half 2025<\/h2>\n

Renault Group sold a total of 1,169,773 vehicles in the first half of 2025. A plus of 1.3 percent compared to 2024. Internationally, the Renault brand grew by 16.3 percent. In Europe, where the passenger car (PC) market fell 1.0 percent, Renault Group grew 5.4 percent and registered 708,106 vehicles. The Sandero and Clio are the two best-selling models. In the Netherlands, Renault Group posted 2.0 percent growth with a sales total of 18,658 vehicles. <\/p>\n

Sales growth of Alpine<\/h2>\n

Especially notable is Alpine’s sales growth. The brand sold 4,871 passenger cars, up 89.8 percent. Alpine remains the market leader in Europe in the two-seat sports coupe segment, with the A110 as the basis of its offering. Alpine is also growing strongly in the Netherlands. With the arrival of the electric Alpine A290<\/a> – a hot hatchback based on the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric – the brand’s sales are skyrocketing. As a result, in the first half of 2025, sales volume will reach 102, up from 17 over the same period of 2024. A growth of no less than 500 percent. <\/p>\n

Results Dacia<\/h2>\n

And how did Dacia perform? Dacia sold 308,958 passenger cars in the first six months of 2025, a plus of 1.1 percent. Dacia maintains its position in the European top three in sales to private customers. The Sandero suffered from the market decline, but remains the best-selling model among private buyers since 2017. In the Netherlands, Dacia is growing slightly with a sales volume of 3,230 passenger cars (H1 2024: 3,028). <\/p>\n

Share of electrified vehicles<\/h2>\n

Renault Group’s share of electrified vehicles increased by more than 15 percentage points to nearly 44% of total sales (of which 12.3% were fully electric) in the first half of 2025.<\/p>\n

At Renault, 59 percent of cars sold are electrified. Almost one in two cars is a hybrid (HEV), up 36.2% from the first half of 2024. This makes Renault the second largest brand in the hybrid market in Europe. Fully electric models account for more than 16 percent of sales (+57 percent vs. H1 2024), with the driving force being the Renault 5 E-Tech – the leader in the B-segment of electric passenger cars in Europe. <\/p>\n

At Dacia, 23.5 percent of models sold were electrified. The proportion of hybrids rose to 17.2 percent, up 11.8 percentage points from the first half of 2024, thanks in part to the success of the Duster Hybrid.
