From the side and rear, nothing seems to have changed. Skoda&#8217;s designers focused entirely on the front for this facelift. The Enyaq gets the so-called Modern Solid design, which we also know from the new <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/JL-0n16SSsc?si=kCmn3csGGLJHtQY8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Elroq<\/a>. No traditional grille &#8211; it already didn&#8217;t have one &#8211; but an even sleeker &#8220;face&#8221; with a glossy black panel (the &#8220;Tech-Deck&#8221;) and a continuous (optional) light band. The Skoda logo has disappeared. From now on, the brand name is written out on the hood.      <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"854\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Skoda-Enyaq-2025-2-1140x854.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-202298\"><\/figure>\n<h2>As of old<\/h2>\n<p>Inside, everything still feels like old times &#8211; and we mean that in a positive way. The layout makes sense, the 13-inch center screen is bright and responsive, and fortunately there are still plenty of physical buttons. No endless swiping on the screen to lower the temperature.  <\/p>\n<p>The Business Edition we drove lives up to its name. Heated steering wheel, heated seats, keyless entry, three-zone climate control &#8211; it&#8217;s all there. The materials used are partially recycled, but just look and feel neat and solid. As we previously <a href=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/review-skoda-elroq-2025-waarom-iedereen-deze-auto-wil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wrote about the Elroq<\/a>: Skoda knows how to build a pleasant interior.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"854\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Skoda-Enyaq-2025-5-1140x854.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-202299\"><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"854\" data-id=\"202277\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/P1277365-1140x854.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-202277\"><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"854\" data-id=\"202278\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/P1277369-1140x854.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-202278\"><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"854\" data-id=\"202276\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/P1277438-1140x854.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-202276\"><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n<h2>Nice and spacious<\/h2>\n<p>The Skoda <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/5QMwQgHn7SQ?si=sIQytqZrZU6qvD0y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enyaq<\/a> has always been known for its range of space and that has not changed. With a wheelbase of 2.77 meters, there is plenty of room in the front and rear, even with long legs. The luggage space of 585 liters is ample, and if you fold down the rear seats, you get 1,710 liters of cargo space.  <\/p>\n<p>The conveniences have remained: a water-repellent cargo floor, compartments everywhere, bag hooks and, of course, the familiar ice scraper in the tailgate. Unfortunately, a frunk is still missing. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"854\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Skoda-Enyaq-2025-9-1140x854.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-202300\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Driving range Skoda Enyaq<\/h2>\n<p>We drove the Enyaq 85, the rear-wheel-drive version with the greatest range. Under the floor is a 77 kWh net battery, coupled to a 210 kW (286 hp) strong electric motor. It does the sprint to 100 km\/h in 6.6 seconds &#8211; more than smooth enough for daily use, in other words.  <\/p>\n<p>According to the WLTP, the range is 575 kilometers. During our week of testing &#8211; in pleasant temperatures and mixed use &#8211; we averaged about 450 to 480 kilometers. More than enough for most trips, including to winter sports or camping in Italy.  <\/p>\n<p>Fast charging is possible up to 135 kW. Not hugely impressive, but thanks to a constant charging curve, the battery is back to 80 percent in just under 30 minutes. There are competitors &#8211; think EVs from Hyundai or Kia &#8211; that do it faster, but in practice you&#8217;ll be done about 10 minutes earlier. On a long drive, that&#8217;s something you can live with, so the Enyaq is no slouch at the charging station. At the regular AC charging station, it goes with 11 kW, as you might expect.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"854\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Skoda-Enyaq-2025-7-1140x854.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-202301\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Comfortable<\/h2>\n<p>The Enyaq does what it is supposed to do: ride comfortably. No sharp edges, no unnecessary sportiness. The steering is light and predictable; the suspension springs smoothly. Our test car has the optional DCC suspension, which allows you to adjust the damping. Nice for those who occasionally want to drive a little more sporty, but in combination with the large 21-inch wheels you do sacrifice comfort. Our tip: get a set of smaller wheels and ask yourself if you really need that dynamic suspension.     <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"854\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Skoda-Enyaq-2025-13-1140x854.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-202302\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Conclusion &#8211; still a smart choice?<\/h2>\n<p>Skoda didn&#8217;t make a radical change of direction with the updated Enyaq &#8211; and it didn&#8217;t need to. In recent years, the model already received several updates to powertrain and infotainment, so the facelift is mostly about looks. That&#8217;s just enough to put it back in the shop window fresh.  <\/p>\n<p>The Enyaq is still exactly what it should be: spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Not an eccentric car, but a practical and reliable EV that you can use daily without worry. The updated Enyaq comes from 42,990 euros.
