An Enyaq with a shorter butt<\/strong><\/h2>\n

A brief summary of the Skoda Elroq? Coming up: the Elroq is essentially an Enyaq, but with a slightly more compact rear end. Same platform, wheelbase, design and interior. Only the rear is shorter, with 470 liters of luggage space instead of 585 liters. Still plenty of room for a suitcase or two and a couple of overnight bags. No small feat, then, this Elroq. <\/p>\n

Typical Skoda<\/h2>\n

The luggage space is also typical Skoda: clever solutions in places where you just need them. Your shopping bags hang neatly on hooks and you store your charging cable in an (optional) net under the parcel shelf. You can adjust the rear shelf to different heights and use it as an extra loading floor. Oh, and of course that famous Skoda ice scraper is hidden again: in the tailgate this time. Thanks to a towing weight of 1,000 kilos, you can also carry a trailer, small caravan or folding trailer.  <\/p>\n

More spacious than you think<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With its length of 4.48 meters, the Elroq is 16 centimeters shorter than the Enyaq, but thanks to the equal wheelbase, you don’t notice this at all inside. In fact, the space in the second row of seats is generous. Even if you’re a tall guy, you’ll be comfortable. <\/p>\n

Modern Solid<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Elroq is the first model shaped according to Skoda’s new Modern Solid design language. The design features clean lines, distinct light signature, a black \u201cgrille\u201d (which in turn is called the \u201ctech deck,\u201d with all sorts of sensors inside) and \u201cSKODA\u201d in cow letters on the nose. Meanwhile, the recently updated Enyaq has also received the same Modern Solid nose. <\/p>\n

Inside, it feels familiar to Enyaq drivers, as the interior of the Elroq is also similar to that of the Enyaq: large central screen, small digital instrument cluster, optional head-up display. The infotainment system runs smoothly and is uncluttered. The \u201cCharging\u201d menu lets you preheat the battery, allowing you to reach peak charging power even in winter. Lovely feature, which every EV should have. Also nice: orange seat belts. Small detail, but everyone who gets in will notice. <\/p>\n
