Kia, the brand we all know from city cars like the Picanto and EVs like the EV3 and EV6 – as of today also shows itself from a very different side: the passenger van side. Meet the Kia PV5 Passenger, the passenger version of the Kia PV5 delivery van<\/a>, and a serious competitor to a whole range of European passenger vans, such as the Volkswagen ID.Buzz<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Five-seater or seven-seater<\/h2>\n

The PV5 Passenger seats five (a 7-seat version is planned for 2026) and is all-electric. You can choose from two battery packs: a 51.5 kWh battery (good for about 288 km of range) or a 71.2 kWh battery (up to about 400 km of range). These are mated to electric motors with 121 hp or 163 hp, respectively. Fast charging is fairly quick: with 150 kW. The bus has a generous luggage space: the five-seater offers as much as 1,320 liters of cargo volume. A station wagon or SUV can only dream of that. <\/p>\n

The biggest surprise? The price. The Kia PV5 Passenger can be ordered from 39,995 euros, and that includes VAT, BPM and delivery costs. We admit, that’s no small change, but a very reasonable amount for a passenger van. Just compare it to the competition: <\/p>\n
