The brand is thus referring to the year in which an American automaker&#8217;s Formula 1 team appeared on the grid for the first time. The limited edition should give the model extra collector&#8217;s value.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Collector Series<\/h2>\n<p>According to Mark Reuss, president of General Motors, the CT5-V Blackwing is the basis for a model that links track and public roads. With the Collector Series, Cadillac aims to translate the technology and look of Formula 1 into a street-legal sports sedan. In doing so, each example is intended to be a striking collector&#8217;s item that marks Cadillac&#8217;s start in Formula One.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/cadillac-ct5-v-blackwing-f1-collector-series-2026-foto3-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series\" class=\"wp-image-220037\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CT5-V Blackwing<\/h2>\n<p>The car is based on the existing CT5-V Blackwing, but gets a custom look and technical upgrades. The design is inspired by the MAC-26 Formula One car and executed in a Midnight Stone Frost color scheme complemented by silver, gray and black accents. Formula 1 and FIA logos are featured in several places. The wheels are finished in Carbon Flash Metallic color.   <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">With six-speed manual transmission!<\/h2>\n<p>Technically, the Collector Series also differs from the standard version. In cooperation with GM Motorsports, the compressor of the 6.2-liter V8 has been modified, resulting in an output of 504 kW (685 hp, normal 491 kW (668 hp)). The powerplant is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. In addition, the model features the Precision Package, which includes carbon-ceramic brakes and chassis modifications for better track performance. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires are also included.    <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unique details<\/h2>\n<p>Inside, the sills say &#8220;Cadillac Formula 1&#8221; and the seats feature embossed F1 graphics. The six-speed manual transmission lever has a special F1 medallion. Under the hood, the supercharger cover features a CNC-milled F1 logo and a laser-etched FIA logo. Cadillac will begin production of the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series in mid-2026 and will sell it in the United States and Canada.
