The vote counter is running exteemly fast. The design was submitted on April 15 and that same day the structure already received more than 100 votes. LEGO then automatically extended the voting period by 365 days to reach a total of 10,000 votes. By April 21, 1,000 people had already cast a vote. LEGO is giving 182 additional voting days as a reward. At the time of writing &#8211; April 30, that is &#8211; the counter already stands at 5,000 votes. There is therefore a particularly good chance that this design will receive 10,000 votes.       <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1,218 parts<\/h2>\n<p>LEGO&#8217;s Renault 5 Turbo 3E consists of 1,218 parts and is built in a scale of 1 to 12. &#8220;Building the car took about three months. I fit LEGO time in between my family and other hobbies, and every time I thought it was finished, I saw something that needed to be adjusted. I think that&#8217;s how I got the details and dimensions right: by having the model on view and constantly checking to see if there was anything to improve,&#8221; Devon-Bricks says on LEGO Ideas. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Youth hero<\/h2>\n<p>He adds, &#8220;I grew up as a car enthusiast in the 1980s and 1990s and the original Renault 5 Turbo was a dream car for me, although I was never able to own one. Picking up LEGO again and rebuilding the dream cars of my youth is an incredibly satisfying experience, especially since others can enjoy them too. I think the new Renault 5 Turbo 3E would be a great official LEGO set. The Turbo appeals to both those who grew up with the original and a new generation that loves the perfect mix of futuristic and retro looks. But more importantly, it represents the future of the automotive industry.
