With this atmospheric series, Porsche Netherlands pays tribute to the sports car icon and underlines the fact that in more than sixty years a lot has changed about the 911, and at the same time remarkably little. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Porsche 911 in 1963<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;When Ferry Porsche introduced the 911 in 1963, he thereby laid the foundation for more than just a sports car. He created an icon that grew to embody everything Porsche stands for: timeless design, uncompromising performance and an unmistakable sports car DNA. Since then, the 911 has evolved technically and technologically generation after generation, but its essence has actually always remained intact. Each new generation tells the same story at its core, over and over again and each time just a little bit better.
