From now on, the cars will be delivered incrementally to police units. The model being delivered is the Mercedes-Benz E 450 d 4Matic AMG Line Limousine, with a combined output of 287 kW (390 hp) and a top speed of 250 km\/h.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equipment SIV<\/h2>\n<p>  For deployment as a Rapid Intervention Vehicle, among other things, the car is equipped with internal optical signaling and the front seats have been modified so that officers wearing their police equipment always have a comfortable seating position. The acceleration of the E-Class is an important criterion. In addition, the use of vehicle-specific screens for police applications is a big plus.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/e-klassepolitie2-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"Mercedes-Benz E-Class as SIV for Dutch Police\" class=\"wp-image-216761\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Mercedes-Benz E-Class as SIV for Dutch Police<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">E-Class SIVs on the road<\/h2>\n<p>Wolfgang Bremm von Kleinsorgen, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Netherlands, said, &#8220;We are particularly honored that the police have chosen the Mercedes-Benz E-Class as a Rapid Intervention Vehicle and delighted to be able to continue our cooperation with the police with this. After an extensive test period by the various police units, the first E-Klasses are now being handed over. The equipment of the cars has been further adjusted in details to optimally match the specific requirements and criteria. We look forward to seeing the E-Class SIVs at work on the road.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three test vehicles<\/h2>\n<p>Paul van Musscher, director of the Police Services Center, said, &#8220;During the period September through December 2025, three E-Classes were deployed as SIV test vehicles around the country. During this period of use, all police units had the opportunity to drive the SIVs. This way, the different teams were able to get to know the cars and give their feedback.
