Lexus shows more of new supercar"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lexus Sport Concept<\/h2>\n<p>All indications are that Lexus is working on a new supercar. At the Japan Mobility Show, the brand is showing more of the Sport Concept &#8211; a study model that looks more and more like a production-ready car. We already saw the exterior during Monterey Car Week, but now we finally get a look at the interior. That&#8217;s anything but boring.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/lexus-sport-concept-2-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-211727\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A cocoon  <\/h2>\n<p>The Sport Concept has an interior that focuses entirely on the driver. The latter is surrounded by screens, buttons and a yoke steering wheel. Everything breathes one thing: focus. Lexus itself calls it a &#8220;cocoon-like&#8221; interior. The separation between driver and passenger is literally palpable thanks to a high center console that somewhat divides the interior in two.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/lexus-sport-concept-interior-2-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-211728\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hybrid heart?<\/h2>\n<p>Lexus is still keeping its lips sealed about what&#8217;s under the hood, but the digital gauges are already giving something away. On the screen we see indicators for &#8220;Power&#8221; and &#8220;Charge,&#8221; plus a battery level of 70 percent. Combine that with a distinct &#8216;M&#8217; on the display &#8211; presumably for Manual mode &#8211; and you get a strong suspicion that this supercar will have a hybrid powertrain. Whether that will be a V8 with electric support or a completely new configuration remains to be seen. What is certain: Lexus wants to make a real driver&#8217;s car again.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/lexus-sport-concept-1-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-211729\"><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LC and LFA<\/h2>\n<p>In terms of looks, the Sport Concept looks like a mix of the <a href=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/lexus-lfa-en-lexus-lc-review-autorai\/\">Lexus LC and the LFA<\/a>. A long hood, wide hips, an active rear wing and prominent LED lights give it a brutal look. There are no changes on the exterior since its debut in Monterey, suggesting that Lexus wants to stay close to this design.
