The team dominated large parts of the 2000s and 2010s with the Citro\u00ebn Xsara WRC, C4 WRC and later the DS3 WRC. Led by French driver S\u00e9bastien Loeb, Citro\u00ebn won no fewer than nine consecutive world titles (2004-2012) in the drivers’ championship and several constructors’ titles. This made Citro\u00ebn one of the most successful teams in WRC history. <\/p>\n
In addition to rallies, Citro\u00ebn also achieved success in the WTCC (World Touring Car Championship). With the Citro\u00ebn C-Elys\u00e9e WTCC, the team dominated between 2014 and 2016. Drivers such as Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda L\u00f3pez grabbed multiple world titles, while Citro\u00ebn was virtually unbeatable as a constructor during that period. <\/p>\n
Although rally and touring cars were the core, Citro\u00ebn also experimented in other branches of motorsport.
