Yet a special collaboration is in store for 2026. During 12 MotoGP race weekends, Harley&#8217;s will be present. In their own class, of course, but the spectacle will be no less.   <\/p>\n<h2>Racing with Harley-Davidson Road Glide<\/h2>\n<p>Harley-Davidson has been racing specially prepared Road Glide models in the United States for years. These are downright touring machines with a fairing, low bagger window and side panniers. Flat through the corner the riders go on these huge bikes. At top speed, they top the 300 km\/h mark. You can&#8217;t do that with a standard Road Glide you buy at the dealer.    <\/p>\n<h2>Harley-Davidson and TT Assen?<\/h2>\n<p><span data-huuid=\"2728690828105392956\">The new racing series, called Harley-Davidson Bagger GP<\/span><span data-huuid=\"2728690828105392685\"> consists of 12 races spread over six MotoGP weekends in 2026 both in Europe and North America. <\/span><span data-huuid=\"2728690828105392414\">Harley-Davidson will not be directly present with its racers at next year&#8217;s TT Assen, but will be there as a sponsor of the MotoGP race with its own booth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28772\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Harley-Davidson-MotoGP-2.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Harley-Davidson Factory Racing<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"521\" data-end=\"947\">The racing engines were developed by Harley-Davidson Factory Racing and built for pure competition. They weigh about 280 kilograms and produce more than 200 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque. They reach speeds of more than 300 kilometers per hour. All engines are identical, which makes for exciting and fair racing. The field of participants will consist of six to eight teams, each with two riders, supported by Harley-Davidson Factory Racing.    <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"521\" data-end=\"947\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28771\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Harley-Davidson-MotoGP-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"521\" data-end=\"947\">&#8220;Focus on performance.&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"1782\">&#8220;This is a bold new step in Harley-Davidson&#8217;s global racing ambitions,&#8221; said Jochen Zeitz, Chairman, President and CEO of Harley-Davidson. &#8220;Since our founding more than 120 years ago, we have been pioneers in performance &#8211; both on and off the road. We have recently demonstrated our performance in the MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series and with distinctive models such as our new CVO RR and the CVO Road Glide ST. We find that our focus on performance is resonating well with riders and fans, and we know they want more. With this new series, we are bringing a new form of racing to the world stage.
