Notable elements include the redesigned front end, with a modified grille and new LED lights. The wheels have also received a different design. In the interior, the new two-spoke steering wheel stands out, as does a simpler-looking dashboard. The air vents have been eliminated. High-gloss materials are used less than before, partly based on reactions from the market. This is a good development.      <\/p>\n<p>The seats have been modified for greater comfort. In the GT-PlusLine, they are covered with a combination of synthetic leather and a material based on recycled polyester. Additional insulation has also been added &#8211; including at the dashboard, wheel arches and trunk area &#8211; to reduce noise levels while driving. The air conditioning has also become quieter.   <\/p>\n<p>What has not changed is interior space. Luggage space continues to range from 587 to 1,776 liters, depending on the position of the rear seats. Thanks to a double floor, the luggage space can be divided flexibly.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"855\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/kia-sportage-hybrid-modeljaar-2026-foto2-1140x855.jpg\" alt=\"Kia Sportage Hybrid\" class=\"wp-image-201804\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Technology and systems<\/h2>\n<p>As standard, the Kia Sportage features a new navigation system with a modern control panel. Starting with the DynamicLine, you get two curved screens of 12.3 inches each. The GT-Line includes a 10-inch head-up display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can now be used wirelessly. Additional features such as streaming services and games become available via the Kia Connect Store.    <\/p>\n<p>New is the ability to pay for parking from the car. In addition, you can equip the car with a Wi-Fi hotspot for multiple devices. Navigation via Connected Routing takes into account real-time traffic data. The car can also be unlocked via a smartphone or smartwatch, without a physical key.   <\/p>\n<p>Below the infotainment screen is a touch-sensitive control panel that lets you easily switch between climate and audio controls. There is also a 360-degree camera with 3D view. The car also offers various driving assistance systems, such as emergency braking assistance, lane keeping assist, blind spot assistance and automatic lane change on highways.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"855\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/kia-sportage-hybrid-modeljaar-2026-foto3-1140x855.jpg\" alt=\"Kia Sportage Hybrid\" class=\"wp-image-201805\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Two powertrains<\/h2>\n<p>The Sportage will be delivered in the Netherlands as a Hybrid (HEV) and later as a Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV). The hybrid version has a new automatic transmission. It provides 21 kW (29 hp) of extra power and slightly faster acceleration: 0 to 100 km\/h in 7.9 seconds. The fuel engine has not changed. The maximum towing weight has been increased to 1,510 kg, which comes in handy when used with a caravan or trailer. The system also includes regenerative braking, which automatically adjusts based on traffic conditions, route or slope.     <\/p>\n<h3>Designs and prices<\/h3>\n<p>The Kia Sportage Hybrid is available in five trims:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ComfortLine<\/strong> (starting price: 42,795 euros): base version including reversing camera, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, dual zone climate control, smart key, wireless smartphone connectivity and navigation with 12.3-inch screen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>DynamicLine<\/strong> (starting price: 45,795 euros): adds seat and steering wheel heating, electrically adjustable front seats, triple zone climate control and a curved 12.3-inch display, among other features.<\/li>\n<li><strong>DynamicPlusLine<\/strong> (starting price: 48,295 euros): features include a sunroof, electric tailgate and matrix LED headlights. Additional assistance systems such as highway assistance and blind spot detection are also present. <\/li>\n<li><strong>GT-Line<\/strong> (starting price: 49,295 euros): with specific styling details and upholstery in suede and faux leather look. This version also has a head-up display. <\/li>\n<li><strong>GT-PlusLine<\/strong> (starting price: 52,295 euros): the most complete version with blind spot camera, 360-degree camera, side parking assist, smart parking assistant, Harman Kardon audio system, adaptive suspension and ventilated seats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new Sportage Hybrid will be available at Dutch dealers starting in September. Pricing and details of the plug-in hybrid will follow later.
