Electric drivers are satisfied<\/h2>\n

The VNA (Association of Dutch Car Leasing Companies) has commissioned research into<\/a> how satisfied lease drivers are with electric driving. A relevant study, especially with all the recent negative coverage of electric driving. But anyone who thinks that lease drivers are counting down the days until they can get back into a gasoline-powered car is wrong. Of the 1,028 people surveyed, only 13% find electric driving complicated, while 82% are very satisfied with it. <\/p>\n

Doubts among fuel and hybrid drivers<\/h3>\n

It is mainly the lease drivers who still drive gasoline who see electric driving as a “hassle. Remarkably enough without ever having tried it. Of the respondents with a car with a petrol engine, 30% say they do not like electric driving. In addition, 36% say they simply don’t know. In short: the doubt seems to come mainly from a lack of experience. Only 34% believe beforehand that electric driving is not complicated. <\/p>\n

Silence, comfort and reliability<\/h3>\n

EV owners themselves are very appreciative of electric driving, mainly because of its smooth ride, silence and reliability. Only 1% worry about technical problems or a flat battery. Breakdowns or technical defects – with the battery, for example – appear to be rare in practice. In short, electric driving seems especially complicated for those who have not yet started. <\/p>\n
