It is often fitted with a Mercedes grille, wider wheel arches and AMG-like details to create the illusion of a mini-G-Wagon. In the UK, someone has gone a step further and added a third axle and two extra wheels, exactly like the Mercedes-AMG G63 6\u00d76. This particular creation is now being offered through British auction house <a href=\"https:\/\/www.historics.co.uk\/auction\/lot\/166-2019-suzuki-jimny-6x4\/?lot=17313\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Historics Auctioneers<\/a>.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/17305-1-1140x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-194773\"><figcaption>Photo: Historics Auctioneers.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3>From 4\u00d74 to 6\u00d74<\/h3>\n<p>The base of this rebuilt Jimny is a 2019 model. Originally, it was delivered in Japan as a standard three-door 4\u00d74, but after importing it to the UK, it was completely overhauled by Mocho Fabrication. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/17305-0-1-1140x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-194776\"><figcaption>Photo: Historics Auctioneers.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The modifications were drastic, it is fair to say. The body was lengthened to make room for the extra axle, which was plucked from another Suzuki Jimny. In addition, the rear body was completely rebuilt. Although the Jimny now looks like a six-wheel-drive beast, it actually has a 6\u00d74 drivetrain. This means that the front two axles distribute power, while the rear wheels roll behind it and are mainly there for looks.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/17305-5-1140x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-194774\"><figcaption>Photo: Historics Auctioneers.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Eye for detail<\/h2>\n<p>Interestingly, the extended Jimny does not feature the typical Mercedes look, only the extra set of wheels are a nod to the G-Class. The conversion seems neatly done and the workmanship seems of a high standard. The transformation is not just limited to the exterior. The interior is upholstered in black and light gray leather with a diamond pattern, again a thick nod to the G-Class. Then again, the paint color is not, as according to the auction house, the Jimny was painted in Audi Nardo Grey.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/17305-2-1140x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-194775\"><figcaption>Photo: Historics Auctioneers.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>What does the special Jimny cost?<\/h2>\n<p>The auction house expects proceeds between 40,000 and 50,000 pounds, about 50 to 60 euro-mill. A hefty sum for a Jimny, but not crazy considering how much work went into this conversion. Moreover, a standard <a href=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/suzuki-jimny-kamperen-review-2023\/#:~:text=Nadelen%20Suzuki%20Jimny&amp;text=Hij%20is%20puur%2C%20voelt%20mechanisch,mij%20betreft%20van%20de%20nadelen.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jimny in the Netherlands<\/a> is not cheap either. It starts from around 30,000 euros in our country. Unfortunately, the Jimny has since disappeared from the price lists because it no longer meets the stricter European safety regulations. So you can only find it on the second-hand market.
