Alfa Romeo Junior<\/strong> – The same goes for the Alfa Romeo Junior<\/a>, with which the Italian brand enters the compact SUV segment for the first time. With a choice of a mild hybrid gasoline engine or fully electric drive. With the (electric) 207 kW (282 hp) strong Veloce version, the sporty driver is not forgotten either. <\/p>\n Audi Q3<\/strong> – A new model generation for the Audi Q3 will be launched this year, but little is known about it at the time of writing.<\/p>\n Audi Q5<\/strong> – Well already revealed is the new generation Audi Q5, which picks up where the previous model left off. There is no all-electric version, for that you have to be with the new Audi Q6<\/a>. <\/p>\n BMW iX3 ‘Neue Klasse<\/strong> ‘ – The new BMW X3<\/a> introduced late last year will no longer be around as an all-electric BMW iX3. Before that, a completely new model will be launched in 2025, part of the new Neue Klasse series. Those models will distinguish themselves with a new design language and should show “the BMW of the future. <\/p>\n BYD Atto 2 – <\/strong>China’s BYD is expanding its model lineup further into the compact SUV segment, with the BYD Atto 2<\/a>. This is a model in the B-segment. Like other BYD models, it is always fully electric powered. <\/p>\n BYD Sealion 7<\/strong> – BYD is also getting into the higher SUV segment, with the introduction of the BYD Sealion 7<\/a>. That’s an all-electric SUV, which BYD sees primarily as a competitor to the Tesla Model Y. <\/p>\n Citro\u00ebn C5 Aircross – <\/strong>In 2025, Citro\u00ebn will come out with a new model generation of the C5 Aircross<\/a>. An almost production-ready concept version was already shown at the Paris Motor Show in 2024. The new model appears to be an evolution of the current one, but we won’t know the exact details until later this year. <\/p>\n Dacia Bigster<\/strong> – This year the Dacia lineup will be expanded with the Bigster, an extended seven-passenger version of the Dacia Duster. The Bigster has already<\/a> been unveiled<\/a>. For those looking for a spacious SUV at a relatively low price, this will be an interesting newcomer. <\/p>\n Fiat Panda SUV<\/strong> – The Fiat Panda is growing into an entire model family. There will also be a “Panda SUV” in 2025, but at the time of writing there is little concrete information about it. <\/p>\n Ford Puma Gen-E<\/strong> – Not an entirely new model, but an important new version is the Ford Puma Gen-E. This is an all-electric version of the popular Ford Puma<\/a>. With a range of up to 376 km (WLTP), it is an interesting newcomer to the compact EV market. <\/p>\n Jeep Compass<\/strong> – A new model generation of the Jeep Compass<\/a> will arrive in 2025, but it has yet to be unveiled.<\/p>\n Leapmotor B10<\/strong> – Leapmotor, a Chinese brand but recently part of Stellantis, is expanding its offering with a C-segment SUV. The model has already<\/a> been unveiled<\/a> and will hit the market during 2025. <\/p>\n Lucid Gravity<\/strong> – Unfortunately, we don’t see the Lucid Air<\/a> on the road very often yet. Expansion plans are there, however. Already in 2023 Lucid showed the Gravity, an almost production-ready SUV. In 2025, it should really hit the market, including here in Europe. <\/p>\n MG ES5<\/strong> – The MG ES5 is the successor to the MG ZS EV<\/a>, which was quickly popular in our country as one of the first “affordable” EVs. Meanwhile, competition has increased and it is time for a completely new model. The Chinese version has already been unveiled in 2024, and the European version will follow in 2025. <\/p>\n Mitsubishi SUVs<\/strong> – During 2025, Mitsubishi will come out with two SUV models that – like the Colt<\/a> and ASX<\/a> – are heavily based on models from Renault. Both SUVs have yet to be unveiled. <\/p>\n Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV<\/strong> – It took a while, but the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV<\/a> is finally making its debut on the European market. By the way, it has been available to order since the end of 2024, but the first deliveries will take place in 2025. <\/p>\n Opel Frontera<\/strong> – The Opel Frontera is making a comeback in 2025, but it has become a different kind of car. Instead of a traditional off-road vehicle, the new Frontera<\/a> is a compact B-segment SUV. One that can fit up to seven occupants, though, and there is also a relatively affordable electric version. <\/p>\n Opel Grandland<\/strong> – Although already available to order in late 2024, the Opel Grandland<\/a> will actually begin a completely new model generation in 2025. The new model will carry the new Opel design language and will be available as a mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid and with all-electric drive. <\/p>\n Renault 4<\/strong> – In the compact segment, the reborn Renault 5<\/a> could be a hit, but the compact SUV segment is not forgotten either. As an all-electric alternative to the Renault Captur, the Renault 4 is also making a comeback. Last year we could already get a brief introduction<\/a>, in 2025 it will actually hit the market. <\/p>\n Skoda Elroq<\/strong> – The range of electric Skoda SUVs has expanded with the Elroq<\/a>, a model that can be thought of as a shorter version of the Skoda Enyaq. It also immediately introduces the new Skoda family face … <\/p>\n Skoda Enyaq<\/strong> – …which with a facelift will also be applied to bigger brother Enyaq<\/a>.<\/p>\n Skoda Epiq<\/strong> – A truly all-new electric Skoda SUV is the Epiq<\/a>, a compact B-segment model. At the time of writing, the final price is not yet known, but it will be around 25,000 euros. With that, Skoda is fully participating in the battle in the (relatively) affordable EV segment. <\/p>\n Smart #5 – <\/strong>Smart’s model lineup is expanding with the Smart #5<\/a>, an upper-middle class electric SUV. At this point, we just don’t know much more than what it looks like and that it will hit the market in the spring of 2025. <\/p>\n Suzuki e Vitara – <\/strong>Suzuki will (finally) enter the electric car market in 2025. They will do so with the compact and robustly designed Suzuki e Vitara<\/a>. The range is about 350 to 400 kilometers depending on the (battery) version. It is still unclear if the e Vitara will replace the current Vitara entirely as a new model generation, or if it will come alongside it. <\/p>\n Tesla Model Y<\/strong> – The immensely popular Tesla Model Y will undergo a major facelift<\/a> in 2025 that should bring it right back up to date. The Model Y “Juniper,” as Tesla calls the facelift model, stands out with its updated design and should have an even (much) longer range. <\/p>\n Toyota Urban Cruiser – <\/strong>The Toyota Urban Cruiser is returning. Previously a kind of tall hatchback, the new 2025 model is a Toyota version<\/a> of the Suzuki e Vitara described above. <\/p>\n Volkswagen Tayron<\/strong> – The Volkswagen SUV lineup will be expanded in 2025 with the Tayron<\/a>. That is the successor to the Tiguan Allspace, although you can still think of the model as an extended Tiguan.
