The new headquarters brings all of Lexus’ key departments together in one place. From design studios to research and development centers, and from marketing to production planning, everything can now be found under one roof. This integration makes the process from concept to production more efficient and faster, enabling new models to be even more responsive to market needs. <\/p>\n

A testing ground as a playground<\/h2>\n

Right next to the new headquarters is an impressive test track that serves as the ultimate playground for Lexus. Here cars are put to the test under all kinds of conditions, from sharp hairpin turns to long straights. Models such as the compact LBX <\/a>and electric RZ have already racked up considerable test miles here. <\/p>\n

Inspiration from the N\u00fcrburgring<\/h2>\n

In the new complex, you’ll also find a touch of the N\u00fcrburgring. The pit boxes are a nod to the legendary German circuit, complete with that recognizable racing look. Here, engineers and drivers work side by side to tune Lexus and Toyota GAZOO Racing models to perfection. <\/p>\n

1.8 billion euros<\/h2>\n

The new headquarters is not only high-tech, but also nice and green. More than half of the site is forest, and Lexus even added some extra trees. At the education center, you’ll learn more about sustainability and how Lexus <\/a>is doing its part. At a cost of 300 billion yen, or about 1.8 billion euros, Lexus is generously pulling out the purse strings for the new complex. The building will accommodate some 3,000 employees. <\/p>\n
