A booth full of history<\/h3>\n

Renault is packing big at R\u00e9tromobile this year. The stand covers a whopping 605 square meters and is filled with eight models that show how the brand has evolved over the years. From legendary classics to modern electric variants. Through February 9, visitors can immerse themselves in Renault’s rich history at the booth.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Renault 40 CV des records and Filante Record 2025<\/h2>\n

The stand’s eye-catcher is the Filante Record 2025, a futuristic single-seater that pays homage to the 1926 Renault 40 CV des records. At the time, the old blue bolide achieved a top speed of 190 km\/h at Montlh\u00e9ry, thanks to a streamlined design – for the time – and a colossal 9.0-liter gasoline engine. The modern Filante Record 2025 is chasing an entirely different record: getting the maximum mileage out of its 87 kWh battery pack. Renault has scheduled the record attempt in the spring, but for now is keeping secret exactly what record they want to break. <\/p>\n

Renault 17: retro and restomod<\/h3>\n

Another eye-catcher: the Renault 17 TS, a sporty coupe from the 1970s. Renault has no immediate plans to market a modern version of this model, but did unveil a restomod version in 2024: the R17 Electric x Ora \u00efto<\/a>. This restomod features an electric powertrain and a sleek design that pays homage to the original. <\/p>\n

Renault 5: from icon to EV<\/h3>\n

Another star on the booth is the Renault 5 TL, the cheerful hatchback that captured many a car heart since the 1970s. Its compact, recognizable design made it a hit. It is on the stand opposite the modern reinterpretation: the Renault 5 E-Tech electric<\/a>, which this year was named Car of the Year 2025. <\/p>\n

Old and new Renault 4 brotherly side by side<\/h3>\n

The new Renault 4 will appear on the market around the summer, but at R\u00e9tromobile you will get a sneak peek. Renault puts the classic 1961 4 Super next to its modern successor. In the coming months, you can also bump into the new Renault 4 at the following events: <\/p>\n

  • Feb. 19 to 20 at the 4L Trophy rally village in Biarritz<\/li>\n
  • May 19 to June 8 at the Roland Garros French Open tennis tournament, where Renault is a partner for the fourth consecutive year<\/li>\n
  • June 20 to 22, the new model will be at festiv4L, a musical event held at the Chalet des \u00celes in Paris’ Bois de Boulogne.<\/li>\n
  • In July, the Renault 4 E-Tech electric will be at the opening of the Renault Carwalk at the famous L’Atelier Renault on the Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
