Car manufacturers say &#8216;no&#8217;!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Do not pass on BPM<\/h2>\n<p>Several importers have decided to determine the BPM increase themselves, so that consumers &#8211; who already have to pay a hefty price anyway &#8211; will pay the same price as in 2024. The Dutch government is lifting the burden of car ownership to ever-higher levels, including by now charging BPM on battery-electric cars and increasing road taxes. BEVs will also have to pay road tax in the form of a quarter rate in 2025. In the coming years, you will get less and less of a discount on the road tax of a BEV.   <\/p>\n<h2>These car brands are participating<\/h2>\n<p>Toyota, Lexus, Audi, Peugeot and FIAT choose not to pass on the BPM increase to the customer. Volvo is also taking this step. With this decision, many brands underline their commitment to CO\u2082 reduction and sustainable growth in the Netherlands. Choosing a sustainable powertrain should be rewarded, is the vision of all car brands. For individuals, virtually all tax benefits on BEVs and PHEVs have disappeared. Only road tax rebates remain.
