During a visit to the Opel plant in R\u00fcsselsheim, top Stellantis executives confirmed their plans for the future of Opel and its German operations. Stellantis Chairman John Elkann, Xavier Ch\u00e9reau (Chairman of the Opel Supervisory Board) and Opel CEO Florian Huettl emphasized the importance of innovation, sustainability and cooperation in a changing automotive industry. <\/p>\n
The visit included a tour of the production hall where models such as the Opel Astra and DS 4 are built, as well as a presentation in the Design Center of future Opel models. An important part of the visit was the preview of the grEEn campus, Stellantis’ future headquarters in Germany and Opel’s global headquarters.
