All also meet the new Euro 5+ homologation. And you won&#8217;t have to turn your right hand as far thanks to the arrival of an M throttle with a shorter stroke. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"761\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28199\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/image001-1140x761.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>BMW M 1000 RR<\/h2>\n<p>The king of BMW superbikes, M 1000 RR, gets bigger winglets. With a little imagination, you can see the head of a hammerhead shark. The winglets cut the driving wind to more downforce. Something that should lead to advantage especially in track use. Because the speeds at which the winglets are effective are not allowed on public roads penalty-free.    <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"761\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-28200\" src=\"https:\/\/motorrai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/image002-1140x761.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2>Power to 218 hp<\/h2>\n<p>The M 1000 RR also gets 4 kW (6 hp) more power, bringing the maximum to 160 kW (218 hp). The Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) now offers a Slide Control function thanks to steering angle sensor technology. A new front fender with integrated brake lines improves brake cooling, and new fairing side panels offer a more striking design. Standard offerings now include additional &#8220;Race Pro&#8221; riding modes. You get two additional combinations for throttle response and engine torque, as well as customizable Engine Brake and Hill Start Control Pro. A five-level adjustable ABS in the &#8216;Race Pro&#8217; modes and the &#8216;Slick&#8217; ABS setting are also included. The DTC traction control has also been revised to offer the same level of intervention as on RR models. Combined with the short-stroke M throttle, BMW says this provides a noticeable improvement, especially in Race mode for track days.  <b> <\/b>The S 1000 R gets 5 hp more power, giving the four-in-line engine 125 kW (170 hp).
