What makes this van so special?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The hydrogen version of the Master is a creation of HYVIA, a collaboration between the Renault Group and the American company Plug.
\nOfficially, it is still a prototype what you see here, but next year it will go into production.
\nAccording to Renault, the hydrogen bus offers the best of both worlds: the reliable and practical nature of the Master, but in a sustainable package. <\/p>\n

700 kilometers<\/h2>\n

Renault is not releasing many technical details yet, except its range: 700 kilometers.
\nRefueling takes only five minutes.
\nThe Master H2-Tech is available in several versions such as a van, floor-cab and chassis-cab and is suitable for various conversions such as large volume bodies, tippers, ambulances or refrigerated trucks.
\nThis flexibility, according to Renault, makes it suitable for all kinds of applications, from logistics to construction.
\nThe payload is a maximum of 1,389 kg. <\/p>\n

Made in France<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Renault is keeping it nice and close to home: the Master H2-Tech will be produced entirely in France.
\nFrom the end of 2025, production of the Master H2-Tech will start at Renault’s Batilly plant.
\nThis plant specializes in the production of large commercial vehicles and combines the production of combustion, electric and hydrogen versions on one line. <\/p>\n

Ecosystem<\/h2>\n

Renault and HYVIA are thinking beyond the commercial vehicle itself.
\nThey are setting up an entire ecosystem around hydrogen, including their own refueling stations and the supply of CO2-free hydrogen. <\/p>\n
