commercial vehicles in the summer of 2025, based on an all-new multi-purpose electric platform.<br \/>\nAt Hannover, Kia will show the PV5 concept, PV5 People Mover concept, PV5 High Roof concept and PV7 concept on display.<br \/>\nKia&#8217;s PBVs are based on four pillars: Drive, Charge, Connect and Work.<br \/>\nKia will present news on all pillars during the IAA Hannover.   <\/p>\n<h2>Kia Platform Beyond Vehicle: Drive<\/h2>\n<p>Kia has developed a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) platform that can be adapted to different wheelbase lengths to easily achieve a wide range of vehicle sizes and body styles.<br \/>\nAt IAA Hannover, Kia announced that each PBV comes with a seven-year or 150,000-mile warranty.<br \/>\nPBV drivers can also enjoy the user experience of the multitasking cockpit, which is supported by AI and includes a large number of storage compartments.<br \/>\nFurther, the cockpit can also be easily converted into a mobile workspace when the vehicle is stationary.   <\/p>\n<h2>Kia Platform Beyond Vehicle: Charge<\/h2>\n<p>Kia PBVs can use the Kia Charge network that provides access to more than 790,000 charging points in 28 European countries.<br \/>\nThis includes the IONITY network with more than 4,100 charging points in 24 European countries.<br \/>\nA PBV can charge from 10% to 80% in less than 30 minutes, for example during a lunch break or visit to a customer.<br \/>\nKia&#8217;s PBVs can charge 22 kW AC for better optimization and lower costs.<br \/>\nThey can fast charge up to 150 kW DC.    <\/p>\n<p>Kia Plug &amp; Charge guarantees a streamlined charging process where charging is initiated by simply plugging in the charging cable.<br \/>\nThe Kia EV Route Planner can find the next available charging station and guide the vehicle directly to it. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Also V2L compatible<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kia&#8217;s PBVs are also V2L compatible, allowing them to act as mobile power sources for appliances, tools, cooling units, emergency equipment and more.<br \/>\nCustomers can also exchange energy with the grid via V2G technology to optimize the vehicle&#8217;s Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and contribute to solving grid Beyond Vehicle: Connect<\/h2>\n<p>At IAA Hannover, Kia also announced that it is joining forces with Geotab and 42dot to drive the future of fleet management.<br \/>\nThis strategic partnership will enable the integration of a range of data solutions to optimize operations.<br \/>\nGeotab is known for connected transportation and asset management solutions and 42dot is the software arm of Hyundai Motor Group.  <\/p>\n<p>As fully connected vehicles, Kia&#8217;s PBVs also have a range of features to maximize convenience.<br \/>\nThis includes dedicated Android OS-based technology, an AI-powered voice assistant, a predictive maintenance feature, smart route planner and a customized fleet management system.<br \/>\nThe Digital Key 2.0 provides remote and shared access to the vehicle, while wireless updates ensure that the latest features and technologies are always available.  <\/p>\n<p>The live data generated by PBVs can be used to analyze driving patterns and identify problems remotely, making fleets more efficiently manageable than ever before.<br \/>\nAccess to the range of Android apps allows customers to add the apps they want to the vehicle.<br \/>\nKia will also eventually offer a number of thoughtful customer solutions through Kia Connect that are optimized to enhance the user experience for specific business needs.  <\/p>\n<h2>Kia Platform Beyond Vehicle: Work<\/h2>\n<p>PBVs are adaptable vehicles on several fronts that become available in different variants, sizes and conversions.<br \/>\nThey offer plenty of cargo volume and significant cargo height.<br \/>\nKia is already working with numerous partners, including pan-European converters, to develop individualized PBVs for specific needs, such as refrigerated freight transport or wheelchair-accessible mobility.  <\/p>\n<p>Kia also announced at IAA Hannover a partnership with the Petit Forestier Group, a global company specializing in conditioned transport.<br \/>\nThe partnership marks a major step forward in making the world of refrigerated transport more sustainable.<br \/>\nKia already works with brands such as Uber and has signed initial deals with Coupang and CJ Logistics, Kakao Mobility and Dubai Taxi Corporation.  <\/p>\n<p>PBVs offer high cargo volume and good loading height, allowing customers to transport more goods, maximize productivity and thus save time.<br \/>\nKia will establish a dedicated dealer network for B2B customers, with appropriately sized workshops, an experienced sales team, extended business hours and expert personnel specially trained for the B2B market.<br \/>\nKia will also offer business financing in this market to ensure very competitive total cost of ownership.  <\/p>\n<h2>Special factory for Kia PBVs<\/h2>\n<p>Kia began building a dedicated PBV plant in Korea last year, part of an investment of more than 3 billion euros.<br \/>\nAn advanced production system will enable flexible production, with more customization of different product types.<br \/>\nThe initial PBV production capacity of 150,000 units per year is going to grow gradually and globally to 300,000 units.  <\/p>\n<div
