Number one <\/h2>\n

When you think of a convertible, you might immediately think of a Mazda MX-5 or Porsche 911 Cabriolet.
\nYou will certainly find them in the list of best-selling convertibles, but they are not at the top.
\nThat’s where you’ll find the Mini Convertible<\/a>, in fact.
\nIn the first half of 2024, the little convertible was sold a whopping 11,140 times, making it the most sought-after convertible in Europe.
\nThis is almost twice as many as the number two on the list, the Volkswagen T-Roc Cabrio, which managed 6,110 buyers. <\/p>\n

What about the Porsche and Mazda?<\/h2>\n

The pricey Porsche 911 Cabriolet and the lovable Mazda MX-5 lag slightly behind in sales figures, but are still doing very well.
\nThe Porsche 911 Cabriolet found 5,784 new owners, while the Mazda MX-5 is in fifth place with 3,545 sales.

  8. Audi A5 + S5 Convertible – 2,709 units<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet – 1,523 units<\/strong><\/li>\n
  10. : Mercedes-Benz SL – 1,366 units<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Extinct breed<\/h2>\n

    Nice numbers, but the fact remains that the convertible in general is a dying breed.
    \nMore and more automakers are stopping making open models simply because demand for them is falling.
    \nOver the past decade, mostly affordable models have been taken out of production, such as convertible versions of the Audi A3, Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen Beetle, Volkswagen Eos, Peugeot 207\/208, Renault Megane, Ford Focus and Volvo C70. <\/p>\n
