{"id":148122,"date":"2024-10-04T15:07:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-04T15:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/all-car-news.com\/spotted-a-mclaren-600lt-spider\/"},"modified":"2024-10-04T15:07:00","modified_gmt":"2024-10-04T15:07:00","slug":"spotted-a-mclaren-600lt-spider","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/all-car-news.com\/en\/spotted-a-mclaren-600lt-spider\/","title":{"rendered":"Spotted: a McLaren 600LT Spider"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The McLaren 600LT we spotted is part of the McLaren Sports Series.<br \/>\nThis is irreverently called the brand&#8217;s series of entry-level models.<br \/>\nThe Sports Series consists of the 540C, 570S, 570GT, 600LT, 620R and Artura.<br \/>\nExcept for the Artura, these are actually all versions of the same car.<br \/>\nThe models are named after their (rounded) power output in horsepower.<br \/>\nThe Sports Series began in 2015 with the McLaren 570S and then expanded.     <\/p>\n<div class=\"galery galery-0\">\n<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t<span style=\"cursor: pointer\" data-src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/McLaren-570S-1600x1200.jpg\" data-fancybox=\"galery-0\" title=\"\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"360\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/McLaren-570S-360x270.jpg\" class=\"attachment-small size-small\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><i class=\"fa fa-search-plus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t<span style=\"cursor: pointer\" data-src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/McLaren-600LT-1600x1200.jpg\" data-fancybox=\"galery-0\" title=\"\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"360\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/McLaren-600LT-360x270.jpg\" class=\"attachment-small size-small\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"><i class=\"fa fa-search-plus\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2><strong>The McLaren 600LT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The McLaren 600LT was added to the lineup in 2018 as a new flagship model.<br \/>\nTechnically, the 600LT is obviously closely related to the 570S, but its 3.8-liter V8 delivers a higher power output of 441 kW (600 hp).<br \/>\nAs the letters LT indicate, the 600LT also has a more than seven centimeters longer rear end.<br \/>\nIn addition, there are some other aerodynamic modifications, such as a larger front splitter and diffuser.<br \/>\nFurthermore, more carbon fiber has been used and the carbon fiber monocoque also differs slightly from the other models.<br \/>\nAll in all, the 600LT is almost 100 kg lighter than the 570S and is said to have 23% different parts compared to the &#8220;standard&#8221;
