Design Ford Puma 2024<\/h2>\n

The exterior design of the new Ford Puma 2024 features the new Ford logo, flanked by new headlights with a new “claw” light signature.
\nThe Titanium version has a chrome-free grille.
\nThe Puma ST-Line has a sportier-looking front design.
\nAt the rear of the Ford Puma, hardly anything has been changed.
\nWe detect a different bumper and the exhaust is gone.
\nThe Puma is available in six eye-catching colors, including the new Cactus Grey.
\nOther colors include Frozen White, Solar Silver, Desert Island Blue, Agate Black and Fantastic Red. <\/p>\n

New dashboard<\/h2>\n

No, for the biggest news you really need to get in.
\nIn the interior of the Ford Puma bespeak a revised dashbaord.
\nThe new Puma features a 12.8-inch digital instrument panel that the driver can personalize to display only information useful to the driver.

Also new is the arrival of a SYNC 4 cloud-connected infotainment system with 5G connectivity.

\nThe seats, steering wheel and new sliding armrest are finished in Sensico material with Cool Grey stitching for Titanium models and distinctive red stitching for ST-Line variants.
\nAn acoustically laminated windshield also adds to the interior’s refinement.

Megabox<\/h2>\n

The clever MegaBox in the luggage compartment has remained.
\nThis handy 80-liter storage space – integrated under the luggage floor – allows you to transport items up to about 115 cm high upright in the trunk, think a houseplant or two sets of golf clubs. The MegaBox also accommodates wet or muddy items, as the compartment is easily cleaned with water. Water drains quickly thanks to the built-in drain. The Ford Puma’s luggage space comes out to 456 liters with the rear seats in the normal position.<\/p>\n

Driver assistance systems<\/h2>\n

In terms of driver assistance systems, the Puma also makes some strides.
\nYou can think of Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, as well as Lane Centering and Predictive Speed Assist that can preemptively adjust vehicle speed in curves, at traffic circles and when entering and exiting highways.
\nThere is also a cross-traffic alert system. <\/p>\n

Reverse Brake Assist is also new to the Puma.
\nIf the vehicle detects a stationary object such as a pedestrian, bicycle, traffic pole or other vehicle, it alerts the driver and the system can brake to avoid or mitigate a collision.

The mandatory speed warning is easily turned off by pressing the “LIM” button on the steering wheel.
\nOn the digital dashboard, you then see a bar fill up to quickly disable the system.
\nPrevents a lot of annoyance on the road.
\nLane assist can also be quickly turned off.
\nNice that Ford makes this possible in a low-threshold way. <\/p>\n

Powertrains Ford Puma 2024 and Ford Puma 2025<\/h2>\n

The Ford Puma is available with two powertrains.
\nPower from the 1.0-liter EcoBoost Hybrid 48-volt mild hybrid engine is 92 kW (125 hp) for the Puma Titanium, ST-Line and ST-Line X specification.
\nThere is a choice of a six-speed manual transmission or Powershift automatic.
\nIf you choose the Puma ST Powershift, you get a 1.0-liter EcoBoost powertrain with 125 kW (170 hp).
\nAn all-electric Ford Puma – named Ford Puma Gen-E – will follow later.
\nIt will be unveiled in the fourth quarter of 2024.
\nThe car can then be ordered immediately.
\nDelivery will then start in the first quarter of 2025.
\nThis car is on the platform of the Courier.
\nPossibly the model will get 136 hp and 290 Nm and a 54 kWh battery pack.
\nAnd charging will then be done with 11 kW AC and 100 kW DC.
\nBut to clarify, that is our expectation.
\nPerhaps the powertrain still differs. <\/p>\n

Driving the Ford Puma<\/h2>\n

Driving the Ford Puma is still a treat, at least if you like sporty driving.
\nIn fact, the car is quite stiff, especially as an ST-Line or real ST.
\nIf you want more comfort, choose the Titanium.
\nIt is a bit softer.
\nIf you like dynamics, it is better to choose an ST-Line.
\nSteering is nice and direct and the steering also provides sufficient feedback.
\nThe seats are comfortable, but the seats are on the short side.
\nSome extra sound insulation in the wheel arches would be desirable, but the outgoing Puma model also suffered from that.
