\nWith this test car, we achieved an average fuel consumption of 5.1 liters per 100 kilometers over a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers.
\nThat is exceptionally decent, especially since you are also driving with almost 200 hp.
\nBy the way, Toyota gives an average fuel consumption of 4.8 l\/100 km in combination with 18-inch wheels.
\nSo with a score of 5.1, we’re getting close. <\/p>\n

Fine powertrain with CVT<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The powertrain consists of a 1,987 cc four-cylinder gasoline engine mated to a CVT and electric motor.
\nSystem output comes out to 144 kW (196 hp) with 190 Nm of torque, available between 4,400 and 5,200 rpm.
\nThe Touring Sports’ top speed is 175 km\/h and the 0-100 time is 7.7 seconds.
\nYou read it right, not 200 horsepower in other words.
\nToyota smuggles some here, calling the powertrain Hybrid 200.
\nIn practice, it is 196 horsepower.

Cheap this Toyota Corolla is not<\/h2>\n

The Toyota Corolla Touring Sports Hybrid 200 GR Sport Plus does not come cheap.

\nThe stronger powertrain does have extra power reserve and that just drives much more pleasantly.
\nThe 140 hp powertrain is a bit more economical, though. <\/p>\n

Go for color!<\/h2>\n

Nice, all that black, white and gray.
\nBut dare to choose a bright color.
\nToyota supplies Juniper Blue metallic, Emotional Red and also the bright Super Green that you find on this test car.
\nIt looks great and attracts a lot of attention.
\nThanks to Super Green the GR details stand out even more.
\nI highly recommend this green. <\/p>\n

This also stands out about the Toyota Corolla<\/h2>\n

  • The GR Sport’s seats are great and offer nice support<\/li>\n
  • The car is roomier than you think, there is 581 to 1,606 liters of luggage space<\/li>\n
  • The car weighs 1,515 kilograms roadworthy and feels nice and nimble<\/li>\n
  • Braked, the car may tow 750 kilograms, which is not very impressive<\/li>\n
  • The on-board navigation system is sometimes a bit unclear with instructions, which is also partly due to the graphics.
    \nNavigating via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto provides the solution, as Google Maps always works fine <\/li>\n
  • The quality of the rear parking camera could really be much better, you can count the pixels now and the image is a bit cloudy even with clean lens<\/li>\n
