{"id":146516,"date":"2024-08-02T11:29:05","date_gmt":"2024-08-02T11:29:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/all-car-news.com\/first-shipload-of-leapmotors-evs-en-route-to-europe\/"},"modified":"2024-08-02T11:29:05","modified_gmt":"2024-08-02T11:29:05","slug":"first-shipload-of-leapmotors-evs-en-route-to-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/all-car-news.com\/en\/first-shipload-of-leapmotors-evs-en-route-to-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"First shipload of Leapmotors EVs en route to Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Leapwho?<\/h2>\n<p>Leapmotor International is a joint venture between Stellantis (51%) and Leapmotor (49%).<br \/>\nAmong other things, Stellantis will handle distribution and will begin sales in nine European countries starting in September.<br \/>\nThe company plans to open 200 outlets in Europe by the end of 2024, with an expansion to 500 outlets by 2026.<br \/>\nThe joint venture will later expand to the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and South America, with planned annual product launches over the next three years.   <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/10_Leapmotor-International-Ships-the-First-Batch-of-Leapmotor-Electric-Vehicles-from-China-to-Europe-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-182531\"><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/02_Leapmotor-International-Ships-the-First-Batch-of-Leapmotor-Electric-Vehicles-from-China-to-Europe-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-182532\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Two models<\/h2>\n<p>Meanwhile, the first boat full of EVs has left China for Europe.<br \/>\nOn the boat are two models: the Leapmotor C10 and T03.<br \/>\nThe Leapmotor C10 is 4.73 meters long, 1.90 meters wide and 1.68 meters high.<br \/>\nIn the bottom is a 53 or 70 kWh battery pack, good for a range of up to 420 kilometers.<br \/>\nA 170 kW (231 hp) strong electric motor provides propulsion.      <\/p>\n<p>The Leapmotor T03 is a compact city car with a range of 265 km (WLTP).<br \/>\nThe model won first place in the J.D.
