{"id":146450,"date":"2024-07-31T09:53:45","date_gmt":"2024-07-31T09:53:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/all-car-news.com\/order-books-alpine-a290-opened-this-is-what-it-costs\/"},"modified":"2024-07-31T09:53:45","modified_gmt":"2024-07-31T09:53:45","slug":"order-books-alpine-a290-opened-this-is-what-it-costs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/all-car-news.com\/en\/order-books-alpine-a290-opened-this-is-what-it-costs\/","title":{"rendered":"Order books Alpine A290 opened: this is what it costs"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Variants and range<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Alpine A290 is the sporty brother of the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/rmX7ljS3kbk?si=DQRlpFdmy5MbzRUR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Renault 5<\/a>.<br \/>\nWhereas the Renault has to make do with 70, 88 or 110 kW (95, 120 or 150 hp), the Alpine has a minimum of 132 kW (180 hp) and a maximum of 162 kW (220 hp).<br \/>\nThanks to a battery capacity of 52 kWh, it can travel 380 kilometers (WLTP) on a single charge.    <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Different versions: something for everyone<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The A290 comes in four versions: A290 GT, A290 GT Premium, A290 GT Performance and the A290 GTS.<br \/>\nEach model has its own unique features and equipment: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A290 GT:<\/strong> The entry-level of the series with 180 horsepower, 19-inch Iconic wheels and an array of luxury features such as heated front seats, automatic air conditioning and a comprehensive infotainment system with Google Automotive Services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A290 GT Premium:<\/strong> For those looking for just that little bit of extra comfort.<br \/>\nIn addition to the 180 horsepower engine, this version offers a black roof, Alpine Blue Brembo brake calipers and a high-end Devialet audio system. <\/li>\n<li><strong>A290 GT Performance:<\/strong> The powerhouse of the series with 220 hp.<br \/>\nThis model sprints from 0 to 100 km\/h in just 6.4 seconds and is equipped with red Brembo brake calipers and Michelin Pilot Sport S5 tires. <\/li>\n<li><strong>A290 GTS:<\/strong> Combines the best of the Premium and Performance models with a two-tone interior, Devialet audio system and black 19-inch Snowflake wheels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/alpine-a290-2024-foto23-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"A blue compact Alpine A290 drives on an empty, wide highway with blurred surroundings, suggesting speed. The car is seen from the rear.\" class=\"wp-image-180088\"><\/figure>\n<h2><strong>Premi\u00e8re \u00c9dition<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To make the launch extra special, Alpine is introducing the A290 Premi\u00e8re \u00c9dition, a limited edition of only 1,955 units.<br \/>\nThis premium version, a tribute to founder Jean R\u00e9d\u00e9l\u00e9, has unique features such as a blue roof, blue brake calipers and a luxurious Nappa leather interior. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Alpine Stores in the Netherlands<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Alpine is opening five new Alpine Stores in the Netherlands this year; in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Groningen and Arnhem.<br \/>\nThe existing store in Soestdijk will also remain a focal point for Alpine enthusiasts. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Prices and availability<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Prices for the Alpine A290 start at 38,800 euros for the A290 GT.<br \/>\nThe GT Premium (180 hp) comes from 42,000 euros and for the GT Performance (220 hp) you pay 41,800 euros.<br \/>\nFor the GTS, the French are asking 44,800 euros and the absolute top model &#8211; the GTS Premi\u00e8re \u00c9dition &#8211; comes from 46,300 euros.<br \/>\nThe first deliveries are expected by the end of this year.<br \/>\nOn the Alpine website, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alpinecars.nl\/electric-models\/a290\/configurator.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">configure<\/a> and order the A290 yourself.    <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"838\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/alpine-a290-2024-foto21-1140x838.jpg\" alt=\"A blue Alpine A290 hatchback parked on an empty, paved surface intersected by white and blue lines.\" class=\"wp-image-180086\"><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Variants and range The Alpine A290 is the sporty brother of the Renault 5.
