Morgans are all unique<\/h2>\n

Atmosphere, atmosphere and more atmosphere.
\nWhoever walks into Morgan’s, actually enters a delightful environment where the love for cars can be read even from the skirting boards.
\nMorgan is a brand for the petrolhead, and in the future perhaps also for lovers of unique EVs.
\nBecause unique Morgans are absolutely unique.
\nEach car is custom-made, assembled exactly according to the buyer’s wishes and built by people with a love for the models. <\/p>\n

Each department has its own specialty<\/h2>\n

Morgan Motor Company employs about 220 people, 120 of whom can be found in its various workshops.
\nEach workshop has its own specialty, from woodworking, knocking aluminum panels to making all interior parts.
\nAlmost everything is handwork.
\nAnd Morgan does not really outsource anything, with the exception of making the long aluminum fenders of the Plus Four and Plus Six.
\nThose are made in a mold at Superform.
\nAnd oha, even the engines are supplied.
\nMorgan uses engines from BMW. <\/p>\n

Morgan Midsummer production begins<\/h2>\n

Morgan produces about 600 to 650 cars a year.
\nThis depends on which models are in production.
\nDuring our visit, for example, it became clear that Morgan has started production of the limited-edition Midsummer.
\nProducing one Morgan Midsummer<\/a> takes four times more time compared to a “regular” Morgan.
\nThe British automaker aims to produce a Midsummer every week until all fifty are built. <\/p>\n

Ash wood<\/h2>\n

Building all cars is done with a mix of different tools.
\nSome more modern than other tools.
\nMorgan still uses a damn old bending jig, dating back to 1952, for bending all ash wood parts.
\nThe wood stays in the mold for two hours to get the wood into the desired shape.
\nMorgan processes wood that still contains 30 percent moisture.
\nThanks to the special glue used in the bending jig, the remaining moisture is drawn out of the wood, keeping it in perfect shape when dried.
