JLR and Meridian<\/h2>\n
JLR has been working with Cambridge-based audio specialist Meridian since 2010. The audio systems can be found in all of JLR’s model families: Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar.<\/p>\n
Modern Luxury<\/em><\/h2>\n
The idea is that through intensified cooperation between the two parties that Meridian will be able to contribute to the design of new JLR models at an even earlier stage of development. Meridian Signature Sound audio system<\/h2>\n
The current pinnacle of Meridian audio technology can be found in Range Rover models with the Meridian Signature Sound audio system. This 1,600-W system features 35 speakers, including two 20-W speakers in the four primary headrests.<\/p>\n
Range Rover Tailgate Event Suite<\/h2>\n
The collaboration between JLR and Meridian yielded another innovation: the optional Range Rover Tailgate Event Suite. It features four additional rear speakers so that the entertainment system works optimally even while the tailgate is open. Why would you want that? According to JLR, it’s perfect for socializing.
