The liftback gets the same GTX tracksuit as its station wagon brother. On the outside, that means extra sporty bumper work, a grille in honeycomb design, body elements in high-gloss black and 20-inch &#8220;Skagen&#8221; alloy wheels (21-inch optional). IQ.Light LED matrix headlights and illuminated Volkswagen logos front and rear are standard. A new GTX feature is the arrowhead-shaped daytime running lights. Furthermore, the ID.7 GTX available with a large panoramic glass roof with smart glass. This roof switches from transparent to opaque or vice versa after a button press or voice command.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/db2024au00373-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-179442\"><\/figure>\n<h2>340 hp<\/h2>\n<p>Two electric motors provide all-wheel drive and a system output of 340 hp. A 0-100 sprint takes less than 6 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 180 km\/h. The GTX gets a larger battery pack than a regular ID.7. In the bottom lies not 77 kWh, but 86 kWh. We know that battery pack from the ID.7 Pro S. The expected range is about 600 kilometers. It is capable of fast charging with 200 kW, where until now the maximum for an ID. model was 175 kW. Charging the battery pack from 10-80% takes just under 30 minutes under ideal conditions.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/db2024au00380-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-179443\"><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" data-id=\"179446\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/db2024au00406-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-179446\"><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" data-id=\"179445\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/db2024au00402-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-179445\"><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" data-id=\"179447\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/db2024au00403-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-179447\"><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n<h2>Higher towing capacity<\/h2>\n<p>The 4Motion all-wheel drive system allows variable distribution of drive power, with electronic limited slip differentials (XDS+) as standard. 4Motion all-wheel drive has the added bonus that an ID.7 GTX has a higher towing weight (1,200 kg versus 1,000 kg for the regular ID.7). Progressive steering is also included and with a choice of driving modes. Adapative Chassis Control (DCC) is available as an option. Just like the ID.7 Tourer GTX becomes the new ID.7 GTX expected in the Netherlands this summer.
