Abarth is 75 years old!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Abarth involved in several brands<\/h2>\n<p>Starting in 1950, Abarth designed and produced exhausts and kits for several car brands such as Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari and Maserati. Later he also built engines and cars in collaboration with Zagato and Bertone, among others. The Fiat 500 Abarth saw the light in 1958 and broke one world record after another on the Monza circuit, becoming 1 of the most important models. From then on, the name Abarth was synonymous with powerful and successful. Collaborations with Italian Fiat and French Simca were strengthened by new models and even more wins.<\/p>\n<h2>Abarth acquired by Fiat<\/h2>\n<p>On July 21, 1971, Abarth was acquired by Fiat, and the name virtually disappeared in the 1990s, until 2007, when Abarth &amp; C S.p.A. was re-established by Fiat and Abarth regained a factory in Turin to produce sportier versions of the Fiat Grande Punto and the Fiat 500, the Abarth Grande Punto and the Abarth 500, respectively.
