This simplifies the purchasing process and gives customers an even better experience. The two new names do require some explanation. Here we go.<\/p>\n<h2>DS Pallas<\/h2>\n<p>The name Pallas was inspired by the &#8220;Palace&#8221; award, given to the most luxurious five-star hotels. Moreover, the name is a historical version of the DS of yesteryear; the term was introduced in 1964 for the original DS. The 1964 Pallas was &#8220;designed to meet the aspirations of the most demanding customers.&#8221; The execution was characterized by its tremendous attention to detail. Still the Pallas version of the DS is a paragon of French craftsmanship.<\/p>\n<h2>DS \u00c9toile<\/h2>\n<p>The \u00c9toile is the new top-of-the-line version of all DS models. Like Pallas, \u00c9toile is also a very Parisian name. It is the symbol of the Place Charles-de-Gaulle, formerly known as the Place de l&#8217;\u00c9toile. In the middle of that square is the Arc de Triomphe, at the head of the Avenue des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es. When viewed from above, the cobblestones of the square form a star. The square connects the most characteristic Parisian avenues and together they form a star, according to the design overseen by Baron Haussmann. \u00c9toile also represents the ultimate status accorded to dancers of the ballet of the Op\u00e9ra National de Paris since the <sup>19th<\/sup> century.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Een-nieuwe-line-up-voor-DS-Automobiles-pallas-etoile-1140x641.jpg\" alt=\"DS Automobiles will introduce two new trim levels PALLAS and \u00c9TOILE during 2024. These new trims will replace all of DS Automobiles' current trims.\" class=\"wp-image-176608\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Own badge per version<\/h2>\n<p>Each trim level gets its own special badge, whose patterns are inspired by fine art. The Pallas badge subtly combines the door of a grand Paris palace with an arch shape reminiscent of the historical axis of Paris (Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, the Obelisk of Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe and Grand&#8217; Arche de la D\u00e9fense). The badge of top trim \u00c9toile is reminiscent of a broad beam of light formed by the twelve avenues converging toward Place Charles-de-Gaulle, which until 1970 was called Place de l&#8217;\u00c9toile.<\/p>\n<h2>DS 4 kicks off<\/h2>\n<p>The DS 4 is the first model within the DS Automobiles lineup to benefit from the new Pallas and \u00c9toile versions.
