Volvo XC90 diesel meets Volvo 244<\/h2>\n

To commemorate the moment, a photo shoot took place with Volvo’s very first diesel car: the Volvo 244. “The event marks a huge milestone in our company’s 97-year history. With this step, we are taking a giant step toward our ambitions of becoming an all-electric automaker and achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040,” Volvo said.<\/p>\n

All current Volvo models have an electrified gasoline powertrain or are fully electric. The proportion of BEVs will only increase. The Volvo EX30, EC40, EX40, EX90 and EM90 are just the beginning of an electric era from Volvo.<\/p>\n
