The differences with the Toyota Yaris &#8211; on which it is based &#8211; were minimal. The Mazda2 Hybrid now features an updated exterior with a true Mazda design. It has been given a new look by an updated bumper and grille design.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"678\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2024_mazda2_hybrid_germany_still-7-1140x678.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-167273\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Backside<\/h2>\n<p>The back also received its own design. The continuous light bar that was on the previous Mazda2 Hybrid &#8211; and thus is also on the Yaris &#8211; is gone. Instead, there are separate light units on both sides of the tailgate. The interior now includes a larger infotainment system and there is a new body color: Glass Blue.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2024_mazda2_hybrid_germany_still-4-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-167274\"><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"760\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/2024_mazda2_hybrid_germany_int-2-1140x760.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-167275\"><\/figure>\n<h2>engines<\/h2>\n<p>Under the hood, there is no news to report. The Mazda2 Hybrid still features &#8211; how could it not &#8211; hybrid technology. A 1.5-liter three-cylinder works together with an electric motor, which together make 116 horsepower.
