The compact van is ideal for package deliverers who hate refueling. The Transit Connect PHEV has an expected electric range of up to 110 km. If you run out of power, you can charge the car up to 80 percent during a lunch break on the road with a 50 kW DC fast charger, or fully charge at home or at work with the 11 kW onboard AC charger.  <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"699\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/TRANSIT_CONNECT_PHEV_SWB_EXTERIOR_01-1140x699.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-173526\"><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Specifications<\/h2>\n<p>The PHEV powertrain consists of a 1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine, a high-voltage battery and an electric motor, together good for a system output of 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque. Shifting is via a six-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission, and maximum payload is 770 kg and maximum towing weight is 1,400 kg.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"622\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/TRANSIT_CONNECT_PHEV_SWB_EXTERIOR_02-1140x622.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-173527\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Load volume<\/h2>\n<p>The van has a cargo volume of up to 3.7 m3 and the Kombi models have a new seating concept that the brand says offers many possibilities. The Transit Connect also features a digital cockpit with extensive connectivity capabilities and a host of advanced driver assistance systems.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"761\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/TRANSIT_CONNECT_PHEV_COCKPIT_01-1140x761.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-173528\"><\/figure>\n<h2>Dieselen<\/h2>\n<p>As an alternative to the new PHEV powertrain, there is also a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine, available in two power variants. The 122-hp variant of this engine is available with a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission. The 102-hp variant comes with a six-speed manual transmission. Ford Pro expects official fuel consumption to come out at 4.8 l\/100 km.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1140\" height=\"781\" src=\"https:\/\/autorai.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/TRANSIT_CONNECT_LWB_DYNAMIC_02-1140x781.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-173529\"><\/figure>\n<h2>2024<\/h2>\n<p>Production of the Transit Connect will begin in the second quarter of 2024. Deliveries to customers will then begin this summer. This will be done in phases, with diesel models being the first.
