In 50 years, Volkswagen sold as many as 34 million copies of the Passat. Although the Passat segment is declining somewhat in numbers, Volkswagen still sees bread in a completely new generation. The brand kicks off with the eTSI mild-hybrid models. The new Passat 1.5 eTSI can be ordered from 48,990 euros, while the Passat 1.5 eHybrid (Business) can be ordered from March from 49,990 euros.<\/p>\n

Versions<\/h2>\n

Volkswagen delivers the Passat in four trims, with room for further personalization using the option list. The base model features alloy wheels, a multimedia system with 32.8 cm touch display, automatic air conditioning (2 zones), smartphone integration and a rearview camera. The Business trim goes a step further in terms of looks, luxury and comfort with 17-inch alloy wheels, ArtVelours upholstery, ergoActive comfort seats with massage function, Park Assist, navigation system Discover Media, phone preparation Plus including wireless charging and a chrome roof rail, among others.<\/p>\n

The Passat Elegance Business has all the nice touches of the Business trim plus specific 17-inch alloy wheels, IQ. Light LED Matrix, Keyless Access, heated ergoActive Sport-Comfort seats and Easy Open, the power tailgate with sensor-controlled opening function. The absolute top model is the Passat R-Line Business. That complements the equipment of the Elegance Business with the sporty looks of R-Line, 18-inch alloy wheels and heated Top-Sport ergoActive seats. Dynamic Chassis Control Pro is standard on the Passat R-Line Business eHybrid. <\/p>\n

Powertrain<\/h2>\n

The new Passat uses the MQB Evo platform, which enables electrification. For example, the Passat with 1.5 eTSI engine (110 kW\/150 hp) features 48V mild-hybrid technology. Also to follow in 2024 is eHybrid powertrain with plug-in hybrid technology, with 150 kW\/204 hp or 200 kW\/272 hp as desired. The purely electric range of these eHybrid models is about 100 kilometers.
