Volkswagen is celebrating a quarter century of Polo GTI with the Polo GTI Edition 25. Worldwide, 2,500 copies will be produced. Under the hood of the Edition 25 we still find the familiar 152 kW (207 hp) and 320 Nm strong 2.0 TSI four-cylinder turbocharged engine. The equipment is particularly rich.<\/p>\n

Model Polo GTI Edition 25<\/h2>\n

The version features a high-end sound system from Beats, a power-operated panoramic sliding\/tilting roof, the navigation system Discover Pro (23.4 cm) with six speakers, Digital Cockpit Pro (26 cm), heated front seats, keyless locking and starting system (Keyless Access), Travel Assist (incl. Adaptive Cruise Control) and headlight illumination LED Matrix (IQ.Light).<\/p>\n

The Edition 25 is identified by black 18-inch alloy Adelaide wheels, special decals on the flanks, a black roof and black exterior mirrors. Interior highlights include premium sport seats with black-and-red leather “Edition 25” upholstery, trims with “One of 2,500” lettering and decor inlays in high-gloss black. <\/p>\n

In addition to the familiar GTI colors Pure White, Kings Red Metallic, Reef Blue Metallic and Deep Black Pearl Effect, the Polo GTI Edition 25 is also available in the exclusive color Ascot Grey. In the photos in this article, the anniversary edition in Kings Red poses with an early sporty precursor: the 1989 Polo G40, part of Volkswagen Netherlands’ historic collection.<\/p>\n
