After more than 75 years, Jaguar will end production of combustion-engine sports cars in 2024. To commemorate that era, Jaguar is introducing an exclusive edition of the F-Type, the F-Type ZP Edition, inspired by two iconic E-type race cars from the 1960s.<\/p>\n

Only 150 examples will be built of this special F-Type, the last Jaguar combustion-engine sports car. Powered by a 5.0-liter V8 Supercharged gasoline engine with 423 kW (575 hp), it stands out with special interior and exterior details put together by the Jaguar SV Bespoke personalization team.<\/p>\n

Colors<\/h2>\n

Two color schemes are available for the F-Type ZP Edition. Both hark back to the successful “Project ZP” E-types, which caused a furor on the racetrack shortly after their introduction in 1961. The first color scheme includes an Oulton Blue Gloss paint with a Mars Red and Ebony duotone leather interior. The second consists of a Crystal Grey Gloss paint scheme with Navy Blue and Ebony duotone leather interior. The roundel inspired by Jaguar’s rich racing history on the doors, finished in Porcelain White Gloss, is hand-applied. The framing of the grille, also done in Porcelain White Gloss, is also a nod to the past.<\/p>\n

Sound<\/h2>\n

The Jaguar F-Type managed to win several awards, including 2013 World Car Design of the Year. Typical of the F-Type is its characteristic V8 sound. An exhaust sound so iconic that it has been archived<\/a> by various institutions, such as the British Library.<\/p>\n

Pricey<\/h2>\n

Available as a Coupe and Convertible, the F-Type ZP Edition features the best Jaguar has to offer, with a 5.0-liter Supercharged V8 with 423 kW (575 hp) and 700 Nm of torque. As standard, the F-Type has all-wheel drive. Acceleration from 0-100 km\/h takes just 3.7 seconds, with a limited top speed of 300 km\/h. The Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition is priced from 236,252 euros for the Coupe and from 241,312 euros for the Convertible. <\/p>\n
