The most powerful MG to date<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The MG4 Electric XPOWER marks MG’s return to the performance car market. Its Modular Scalable Platform-based powertrain features a 64 kWh battery pack, good for a range of 385 kilometers** (WLTP). Furthermore, the platform in this case houses two electric motors (150 kW in the front and 170 kW in the rear) that together deliver up to 320 kW\/435 hp of power. That power is transmitted to the asphalt via all-wheel drive as standard. With Launch Control, the MG4 Electric XPOWER sprints from 0-100 km\/h in just 3.8 seconds.<\/p>\n

Sporty handling and driving pleasure<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The MG4 Electric XPOWER is the first MG to feature an all-new Dynamic Cornering Control System, with an electronic limited slip differential and Intelligent Motor Control. The system allows torque vectoring between all four wheels. The suspension has also been heavily modified, including a recalibrated spring and damper adjustment, stiffer stabilizer bars and sharper steering. The overall stiffness of the suspension has been increased by up to 25%. <\/p>\n

MG recalibrated the regenerative braking software. The increased braking power reduces the stopping distance from 100 km\/h to standstill to just 33.9 meters. This result is made possible in part by the larger 345 mm ventilated brake discs front and rear, as well as the Bridgestone Turanza tires.<\/p>\n

Sporty looks and equipment<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The dynamic performance of the MG4 Electric XPOWER is optically enhanced. You’ll recognize it by orange “XPOWER” brake calipers, a two-tone roof, new 5-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels and polished trim accents. In addition, it is also optionally available in the new “Hunter Green” color, reserved exclusively for this sporty version. The interior is understatedly sporty, with such recognizable touches as the sport pedals, the black Alcantara interior and the seats also covered in black Alcantara.<\/p>\n

What does the MG4 Electric XPOWER cost?<\/h2>\n

The MG4 Electric XPOWER is now available through MG brand stores, and is available through the end of October starting at 41,285 euros. After October, the price is likely to rise slightly. While this is a reasonable price for so much power, it is as much as 9,000 euros above the price of a standard MG4 Electric<\/a>, which starts at 32,285 euros.<\/p>\n
