The battery pack with a net capacity of 17.6 kWh allows for 87 to 102 kilometers of all-electric driving based on the WLTP test standard.<\/p>\n<h2>BMW 550e xDrive Sedan<\/h2>\n<p>The BMW 550e xDrive Sedan has a BMW TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder in-line gasoline engine and an electric motor, together good for 360 kW (489 hp) and 700 Nm of torque. This power is put on the road via an 8-speed Steptronic transmission combined with BMW xDrive all-wheel drive. With this, the sprint to 100 km\/h is covered in 4.3 seconds. Fast thing, then, that 550e.<\/p>\n<p>What does that cost? The Lower Bavaria plant is the company&#8217;s largest production site in Europe. In the year that celebrates 50 years since the first BMW rolled off the assembly line at the plant, production of the eighth-generation BMW 5 Series Sedan begins.
