Kia Sportage Dark Edition<\/h2>\n

The special Kia Sportage Dark Edition stands out with a number of exclusive design features, including the high-gloss black contour lines around the side windows and spoiler. Furthermore, the model has new dark chrome trim elements on the front, rear and sides. The special edition rolls on alloy wheels painted in high-gloss black. Other notable elements include privacy glass and dark chrome guard plates.<\/p>\n

Exclusive to the Dark Edition, the all-new color Wolf Grey is being introduced. Other available colors include Deluxe White, Casa White, Pearl Black, Penta Metal and Experience Green.<\/p>\n

Interior<\/h2>\n

The Jubilee Sportage stands out inside with upholstery finished in suede and faux leather. The very luxurious standard equipment includes power front seats, seat and steering wheel heating and additional ambient lighting. The Dark Edition comes with a special Midnight Green interior package.<\/p>\n

30 years of Kia Sportage<\/h2>\n

More than 7 million units of the Kia Sportage have been sold worldwide in 30 years, across five generations. The first generation appeared in 1993. Since 2015, the Kia Sportage has been the brand’s best-selling model. <\/p>\n

“Over the past 30 years, the success formula of this SUV has always remained the same,” says Alexandre Papapetropoulos, Director Product & Pricing at Kia Europe. “To celebrate the anniversary of this iconic Kia, we are introducing a special edition with which, while looking back on 30 years of the Sportage, with its electrified powertrain, we are above all looking forward to the future.” <\/p>\n

Five generations of Kia Sportage<\/h2>\n

This first generation is seen by many as a pioneer in an entirely new segment. The second generation (from 2004) made great strides in quality and safety. As such, it was based on an entirely new platform. Kia sold more than twice as many units of this second generation than its predecessor. The third generation (2010) again raised the bar in the segment, attracting particular attention with its all-new design and Tiger Nose grille.<\/p>\n

The fourth-generation Sportage (2015) brought an arsenal of new comfort and safety features, including a host of driver assistance systems. Since the introduction of this generation, the Sportage has been the best-selling Kia within the broad lineup. The fifth, current-generation Sportage (2021) is available with several electrified powertrains, ranging from mild-hybrid and hybrid to plug-in hybrid.<\/p>\n
