After six years, a facelift<\/h2>\n

More than 2 million units of the Tesla Model 3 have already been produced, after the first one rolled off the assembly line six years ago. Now the Model 3 is getting a major upgrade. Tesla kicks off with the Model 3 rear-wheel drive and Long Range All-Wheel Drive. The Performance variant may follow at a later stage. The upgrade mainly involves more refinement, comfort and quality, both inside and out. The Tesla Model Y is also going under the knife soon.<\/p>\n

Design Tesla Model 3 2024<\/h2>\n

In doing so, Tesla remains true to the Model 3’s streamlined, uncluttered design. So it is mostly an evolution rather than a revolution. Better aerodynamics<\/h2>\n

Sharper body lines and aerodynamically optimized surfaces reduce drag and wind noise and increase range.<\/p>\n

New lighting<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The headlights have a whole new look. The taillights also have updated styling. They are now nicely integrated into the tailgate.<\/p>\n

Two new colors<\/h2>\n

Ultra Red and Stealth Grey are two new colors for the 2024 Tesla Model 3. Ultra Red is a high-chroma color with dynamic depth created by the application of multilayer lacquer.       The center console has been redesigned. The updated Tesla Model 3 has a spacious aluminum storage compartment and two wireless phone chargers. To quickly charge a laptop, the car has one USB-C charging port in the front and two in the back, each with up to 65 W of power.<\/p>\n

      New generation audio system <\/strong><\/h3>\n

      The Model 3 has a new premium audio system designed by Tesla itself. In Long Range versions, the system consists of 17 speakers, dual subwoofers and dual amplifiers. Rear-wheel drive versions have 9 speakers, a subwoofer and an amplifier. Includes built-in support for Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal. Additional and more powerful microphones provide enhanced call quality.<\/p>\n

      Like the Model S and Model X, the Model 3 now gets an 8-inch rear display with integrated climate control, ventilation and entertainment.<\/p>\n

      The levers on the steering wheel have been replaced by controls on the steering wheel for an uncluttered driving experience, with both haptic switches and physical buttons. Smart shifting automatically selects the right driving direction to start your drive, just like the latest Model S and Model X.<\/p>\n

      Center display<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      The 15.4-inch center display has the same dimensions as before, but with a larger usable screen area thanks to the narrower bezel. It features a customizable user interface and is improved over time with OTA updates. It also has a 50% improved mobile network, 2x wifi range and dual-band wifi capabilities (2.4GHz and 5GHz).<\/p>\n
